"Really enjoyed our stay in the top floor suite with an amazing view overlooking Taikoo Li and the skyline. The location is perfect for a short visit, with Taikoo Li just outside, making it very easy to walk around. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive, responding to our requests and questions instantly, they even helped us fill up the bathtub/pool while we were out so it was ready upon our return! Also loved the projector screen to watch tv. Many amenities like snacks, towels, robes, slippers were also provided. Overall, I highly recommend and would definitely return!"

"This is our second stay within a week (after 2 nights at Jiuzhaigou). When we returned, it’s comforting to be greeted warmly by Xiao Zhang at the reception again (he checked us in one our first stay). Although the staff are on shifts and we met different people each day, everyone showed the same level of friendliness and helpfulness. We enjoyed a free upgrade again and loved the room with modern decor, and opportunity to wash our clothes before heading out again. We’re convinced that Sungold is the perfect base to explore Chengdu and other attractions in Sichuan. We’re off to Dujiangyan and Qingchen, and will be back here again for another 2 nights!"

"Not bad at all! We had a butler service, and even though we were busy working late into the night, we asked them to bring two extra bottles of water with morning room service and to dispose of some delivery boxes. The butler showed up within ten minutes – super efficient! The staff also helped us with our luggage. The front desk's service for receiving and sending packages was incredibly convenient. There's also self-service laundry and drying available. Plus, the front desk has three little lovebirds chirping away!"

"The room is spacious with incredible views from the floor-to-ceiling windows. The apartment is located in the heart of Taikoo Li, right off the pedestrian street. They provide two coffee capsules and four bottles of water each night, which is more than enough. The only minor drawback is that there are many apartments in the building, so if you're on a high floor, you might experience longer waits for the elevator."

"A great location (once you find the apartment). It is close to the metro and high end and low end shops. Food eateries everywhere - mostly serving hot pot. The metro was great for reaching People’s Park and the Panda Research Centre. The sockets in the room were dubious and only one was working in each room. The basin was outside of the shower room which worked out really well for us as it meant two people can be getting ready at the same time. The room we were allocated had stairs to reach the bedrooms - this is an issue carrying up heavy suitcases up the stairs! But we were aware there were stairs - just didn’t bank on my daughter’s case being so heavy!"

"Great! It's very convenient, close to the subway station, and there are many good places to eat nearby. The service is excellent, and the rooms are clean. The facilities are comprehensive and well-equipped. The environment is nice and quiet. Everything is clean and tidy."

"The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the Panda Base by car, making it super convenient for getting around and sightseeing. The room was clean and tidy, the king-size bed was comfortable to sleep in, and the bedding was soft and gentle on the skin. Check-in and check-out were efficient, and the public areas were well-maintained. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices. Overall, it's great value for money. It's definitely my top choice if you're visiting the Panda Base, and I'll rebook for sure on my next trip to Chengdu!"

"The location on Wangping Street is super convenient! There are many cafes and bars along the river, and you can walk to IFS and Taikoo Li, but I opted for a Didi instead. The hotel is very clean and comfortable, with a 24-hour laundry room and gym. They offer unlimited free boiled water, and there's even a robot for room service. Inside the room, there's a Xiao Du smart assistant, a smart bed (with adjustable height and massage modes), and a smart toilet. The front desk staff are incredibly friendly – I give 100 points to the ladies at counter #1 and #5 for their excellent service! I'll definitely be back here on my next trip to Chengdu. The only minor drawback might be that the bathroom and toilet are a bit small and lack hooks, which was a bit inconvenient 🥹"

"Traveling to Chengdu, I booked this high-rise hotel near Taikoo Li. I initially chose it for its convenient location, but to my surprise, the hotel's environment and cleanliness exceeded my expectations. I've stayed in many hotels before, and this one's cleanliness ranks among the best. As soon as I entered the room, the air was fresh, free from mold or smoke odors. Instead of carpets, which often retain smells, they used wood flooring, which was spotless. The bedding was clean, with no leftover hairs, ensuring a comfortable sleep. The bathroom was my favorite part: no water stains on the mirror, no standing water in the sink, clean tile grout without any unpleasant smells, stable hot water in the shower, and non-slip flooring. Every corner was meticulously cleaned. The high-altitude view was an unexpected bonus; the high-floor panoramic windows offered an unobstructed view. During the day, you could see the city streets, and at night, after a tiring day of sightseeing, watching the Taikoo Li night view from the window was incredibly relaxing. The room layout was well-organized, quiet, and soundproof, so despite the bustling commercial area downstairs, I wasn't disturbed. The housekeeping service was excellent; requests for cleaning midway through my stay were promptly attended to, and all amenities were fully restocked. Location, environment, and cleanliness were all top-notch. The hotel is conveniently located with easy access to various tourist routes and surrounded by complete commercial facilities, making for a truly comfortable stay. I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I return to Chengdu."

"This is a great hotel! It's close to everything, especially Taikoo Li, which is just a few minutes away on foot, or even quicker by bike. The best part is that it has a rain shower! That's my absolute must-have for hotels in Chengdu. Plus, a concierge brings your takeout right to your room. Overall, it's pretty good."
