@@travelwithleongthianThe location of this hotel is superb. It is only a short walking distance away from the Metro station. Within walking distance are several restaurants which serve excellent meals at reasonable prices. Opposite the hotel is a fresh fruits & vegetables market which is worth visiting.
The front office staff are very helpful and will go all out to assist you. They gave useful advice on places to visit and good restaurants to go for meals.

GGuest UserCheck in and check out went smoothly as long as you can converse in Chinese, I used Google Translate and it worked well. We were in a king room and it was quite spacious, there was sufficient room to keep our toiletries by the sink and our luggage. We had a sofa, table and small chair in our room. There is a smart toilet with a heated seat. The shower pressure is really good. There is one English speaking channel. I liked that there was no carpet in the room but laminated floors. A real bonus was free laundry and they had 5 washers and dryers on the 12th floor. The hotel is within walking distance to MixC mall which is very modern and there were many eateries in the mall. Another bonus is the Songshanbei intercity railway station which is about 200m from the hotel. You can buy a ticket very cheaply and ride to Guangzhou South railway station but it is really slow, it took about 1 hour. If you are unlucky you could be standing but if you leave around 10ish you should be able to get a seat. They offer breakfast for a fee which we did not partake in. Within walking distance there is a Starbucks and McDonald’s inside the mall. I would recommend this hotel to others because of the many eateries, intercity railway station, laundry facilities and cleanliness.i

The biggest strength of this hotel is its unbeatable location. You’re steps away from McDonald's and Luckin Coffee for quick bites and caffeine. A well-stocked mall is right beside the hotel, making it super easy to grab daily necessities. The best part? A lively night market is directly opposite the hotel! This makes finding delicious, affordable local food incredibly convenient any time of the evening. The whole area is very 热闹 (rènào - bustling/energetic) – perfect if you want to be in the heart of the action.
Cleanliness: 3/5 – Okay for the Price, Manage Expectations
The general cleanliness is acceptable, if you adjust your expectations. It's definitely not a 5-star luxury experience, but for a budget/mid-range stay, it's passable and reasonably maintained. Don't expect immaculate perfection, but the basics are covered.
Room & Atmosphere: 2/5 – Persistent Smoke Smell
The major downside, especially in the rooms and hallways, is a strong and pervasive smoke smell. It's quite noticeable and doesn't dissipate easily. Unfortunately, this seems to be a common issue in many hotels within the region, but it's definitely present and unpleasant here if you're sensitive to it.
Breakfast: 1/5 – Strongly Not Recommended / Unhygienic
Avoid the breakfast option. Hygiene standards here are very poor. I personally observed small cockroaches crawling on the tables in the breakfast area. This is completely unacceptable and a major health red flag. Do yourself a favor and skip it entirely. Thankfully, with McDonald's, Luckin, the mall food court, and the fantastic night market opposite, you have plenty of much better (and cleaner) alternatives nearby.
Overall:
This hotel is all about the location, location, location. If being in a super convenient, vibrant area with easy access to food, coffee, and shopping is your top priority, and you're on a budget, it serves that purpose. The cleanliness is tolerable for the category. However, the strong smoke smell in the rooms and corridors is a significant drawback, and the breakfast is dangerously unhygienic (cockroach sighting confirmed). Choose this hotel for the prime spot if you can tolerate the smoke and definitely plan to eat breakfast elsewhere.

FFILImengxiangchengzhenThe service was truly excellent. Since we had a child with us, they went out of their way to accommodate us by pushing the beds together. We also received a fruit platter, and a butler was available for communication at all times. Getting around was very convenient. The front desk staff were always smiling, making you feel genuinely welcomed. It definitely competes with other international hotel brands. I'll stay here again next time, and I hope the hotel continues to maintain this high level of service.

GGuest UserThe front desk service was excellent; they were very attentive and even made coffee for me. I've stayed here several times now. The rooms are clean and tidy, and I really like the decor. It's thoughtful that the front desk has a dedicated area for female guests, which is super convenient for travelers. The hotel also has a gym, a swimming pool, and a laundry room. Plus, every room comes with a charger, making it especially great for business travelers. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time. Thumbs up, thumbs up, thumbs up!

Service: We had a few minor issues during our stay, but the concierge was very helpful and did their best to assist us. Satisfied!
Room: Although a bit dated, the room was well-maintained. I forgot to take photos. Overall, I'm happy with my stay and would definitely book here again.

The service was warm and attentive; the front desk staff was very responsive to all our requests. I highly recommend it for your 51 (May Day) holiday trip!

GGuest UserThe environment is quiet and serene, with a subtle Chinese garden style. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped (it would be even better if they provided two pairs of slippers for showering). Kids enjoyed playing in the water, while adults worked out and hiked.
The service was a bit lacking, though. The service robot was slow to respond, and we had to chase down staff multiple times for assistance, likely due to understaffing.
During the May Day holiday, check-in was really slow; we didn't get our room key until after 6:30 PM. Thankfully, the manager was flexible and arranged for the kids to go swimming first, and even gave us some drink vouchers (for a Coke, Sprite, or instant coffee) for those who weren't swimming.

It takes only half an hour to Shenzhen Airport and an hour to Guangzhou, making transportation incredibly convenient. The facilities are comprehensive, including a gym, though it seems unmanaged with limited equipment. Massage services are also available. The room was clean and comfortable, and the front desk staff, Nicole, provided attentive and efficient service. Overall, it was a great experience, making it an ideal choice for business travel. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserI didn’t expect too much from this trip since it was mainly for business, but I ended up being really satisfied with my stay here.
The hotel room was spacious, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The amenities were great too, with a swimming pool, a spacious gym with good equipment, and even a basketball court, which was a nice surprise. The location was also very convenient, with plenty of food options nearby.
What impressed me the most was the service. The housekeeping lady cleaned my room every day and was always very hardworking. The front desk ladies were friendly and attentive, and there was always someone available to help. Whenever I had a request, they handled it very quickly.
I was well taken care of by several staff members. I remember one of them was named 小竹, though I unfortunately can’t remember the others’ names. One of the night shift ladies even recommended a nearby barbecue place, which turned out to be really nice.
Overall, this short stay left me with a very good impression, and I would be happy to stay here again!
