Hotels near Jinniu, Chengdu

The breakfast was plentiful, and the service was attentive. There are many great food options nearby, and public transportation is super convenient, with a subway entrance right outside. The room was very clean, quite new, and well-equipped. I highly recommend it!

Very clean, the bedding was very comfortable, the decor was cozy, and the front desk service was very welcoming. They responded quickly to any needs I had. The shower and air conditioning worked perfectly. For this price, it's rare to find a hotel that impressed me with its cleanliness and comfort; definitely worth a stay. It's very close to the subway, there's a convenience store downstairs, and plenty of restaurants nearby, just a short walk away. There's also a nice noodle street near the Fuqin Night Market. The biggest drawback is the poor soundproofing. Because the rooms are quite close together, and most hotels don't have proper door frame treatment, sound leakage is common. It wakes me up in the morning when people come and go. The walls aren't very soundproof either; I could hear the kids playing next door. One night it was so noisy I couldn't sleep. However, you can get earplugs at the front desk, which are quite effective; I slept well wearing them. A few other minor drawbacks: the screen is quite large, but the overall viewing experience isn't great; you'll have to experience it for yourself. There was a stain on the toilet (see picture below), but I later discovered it couldn't be wiped off, so there was nothing I could do. The hand soap, shower gel, and shampoo had no fragrance, just an oily smell. The screen window needs to be opened and closed every time the window is opened, but the little mechanism on it is quite easy to operate.

The photos make it seem like this hotel occupies its own standalone building, but that isn’t the case. It is actually located on the 15th and 18th floors of an older building, which makes the overall experience feel less premium than expected. While the hotel floors themselves have a modern, futuristic design, the contrast with the rest of the building was a bit disappointing. Additionally, the room we booked did not have a window, which was not clearly communicated in the images on trip.com, which did disappoint us. During our visit, there was also very loud construction noise. To their credit, the staff responded promptly and moved us to another floor. However, the noise was still noticeable even after the room change. The hotel offered a 5% discount as compensation, but we felt it was insufficient given the inconvenience caused, especially since we would also not be able to collect Trip.com coins for this stay. As a result, we declined the offer.

This hotel EXCEEDED my expectations! I mean- from the front desk to the cleaning staff- absolutely unmatched service! Professional and seamless!. Talk about the AMENITIES- I’ve travelled in China- and I must say this is definitely one of the best hotels I’ve been in- the attention to detail is incredible- the room equipment and SMART functions- are what I need in 2026. The water system 💯- I could choose the temperature I want from simple room temperature to warm to hot- I mean wow 🤩! The bathroom- shower- the best! Water pressure and temperature- awesome! The toilet- a bidet- comfort on another level! The free VC juice at the reception/ dining area- so refreshing (I didn’t buy any juice during my stay 😀). The location is very convenient- near the malls- restaurants and tourist attraction areas. There is also a rooftop for some fresh air and chilled vibes (solo or with friends)!Bottom line is - I really enjoyed my stay and most importantly- it’s a very budget friendly hotel. EXTRA value for your money. I’d definitely stay here again when I come to Chengdu❤️.

The hotel staff provided excellent service, patiently answering all our questions. No need to worry about late-night hunger, as friendly delivery robots, speaking in an adorable child's voice, will bring your food orders. The hotel also offers complimentary drinks, with charming hand-drawn labels in the lobby each day, and there's free tea in the in-room fridge. The hotel also has a great library where you can borrow books for free throughout your stay. The laundry service is top-notch: simply place your clothes in the in-room basket, and staff will wash, dry, and return them to your room. Fantastic service!

Home Inn Select is also considered to be a better decoration style in the home, the room warm air is not bad, relatively soft, the bath water is very comfortable, the location is very convenient, close to the subway station, the front desk staff is very warm, the check-in is very fast, the business is very skilled. The decoration of the hotel front desk is also very warm, and the stay is very pleasant.

Great hotel to stay in for multiple days. They clean the room well each day and the staff is friendly. The location is great; a metro station directly in front and only a short walk to shopping centres. The breakfast at the hospital was nice, although I would have hoped for some more sweet or bread-based dishes. Luckily there are many food places around.

We spent two nights in Chengdu primarily to visit the Chengdu Research Base for Giant Panda Breeding and wanted a hotel that was central, walkable, and close to Kuanzhai Alley, parks, and temples. The Hidden House checked all of those boxes and ended up being one of the best stays of our trip. From check-in, the experience was smooth and welcoming. The staff were kind, spoke English, and immediately helped with our luggage, insisting on bringing it all the way to the room. Service throughout the stay was consistently attentive without feeling overbearing. The elevator is exterior-facing and very fast, consistently arriving within about 30 seconds. It was reliable the entire time, which is worth noting since that setup could raise concerns at first glance. We booked a deluxe double with a bathtub, which came with a private patio including a table, chairs, and an awning. This turned out to be a highlight. On our last night it rained, and we were still able to sit outside comfortably. The room itself is well-designed and comfortable. The bed was excellent, and the bathroom featured a high-end bidet with a heated seat and automatic lid. The shower had strong water pressure, and the included foot bath was a genuinely thoughtful touch, especially after walking over 10 km at the panda base. Breakfast was another standout. The menu is small, around four options, but that focus clearly pays off in quality. The dining area sits next to a water feature and offers private rooms, making for a calm start to the day. The americano was surprisingly good, and the congee, served with a salted duck egg, was excellent. There is also a self-service washing machine on the top floor, with detergent and antibacterial liquid provided. After 10 days of travel, being able to wash socks and undergarments, which many hotel laundry services will not handle, was a huge plus. Finally, the staff, Xiao Xiao, Xiao Tang, and Xiao Ying, really elevated the stay. They made everything feel easy and taken care of. The location is ideal, less than a 10-minute walk from People’s Park and Kuanzhai Alley. If I return to Chengdu, I would stay here again without hesitation.

My experience at Jinglan Meiju Hotel was beyond expectations! The French minimalist design is elegant and cozy, and the lobby scent is refreshing. The room was spacious, bright, clean, and tidy, with soft and comfortable bedding. The soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a good night's sleep. The front desk service was warm and efficient, attentively meeting all my needs. The breakfast was rich and delicious, combining Chinese and Western options with fresh ingredients. The location is superb, making travel convenient, suitable for both business trips and tourism. Highly recommended!

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! Would happily return. Pros: · Fantastic location – very close to the train and bus station, plus lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Easy to grab snacks or fruits. · The room was clean, spacious, and the bed was a real big bed (not two singles pushed together). The decor gives a lovely zen feeling. · Staff were super friendly and helpful. · Fun touch: the room swipe card is on a wristband. · Reception offered free dessert soup now and then – a nice treat. · There's a luggage rack to open your suitcase comfortably. Cons (minor, but worth noting): · The AI control system struggles with English commands. · A few typos around the room. · Laundry room has only one machine that does both wash and dry – takes 3.5+ hours per load. Staff can help, though. · Outside of our corner room, there are extra stairs up and down in the corridor (fine for us, but not good for those with accessibility needs). · The auto-flush toilet had a sensor issue? wasting a lot of water. Despite these small downsides, we'd definitely stay again. Great value and vibe!
