Room had enough space, a bathtub, a big screen tv, minute walk from bus stop to /from Taoyuan airport (depends on which bus).
Breakfast stuff were kind, and they had different kinds of food each day:)
Only thing is one of the reception staff did not understand English and did not even try to communicate. Shuttle bus service are available 2 times a day.

The location is great, very close to Taoyuan Station and the bus terminal, with many shops nearby. Tonlin Department Store is right in front. The only downside is the lack of free parking, which is a shame. The room was quite small, but the weekday price was reasonable. I would definitely stay here again if I'm not driving when I visit Taoyuan next time.

I stayed here because I had a late-night flight. A taxi from the airport cost 600 NTD, which I paid by credit card so no cash was needed. The room was relatively clean, but due to ********* law, amenities aren't provided, so you'll need to bring your own or buy them. Breakfast was ********* style and pretty standard. The service was good, so I'd like to stay here again if I have the chance.

Cleanliness-wise, I think it's pretty good. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The surrounding area has convenient shopping and amenities, and there's even an entertainment center/KTV downstairs. There are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby, and it's also close to the train station. Overall, it's a hotel with high value for money.

My stay at Monarch Plaza Hotel in Taoyuan was fantastic overall! The cleanliness was exceptional; the room was spotless and very comfortable, which made me feel completely at ease. The environment is elegant and grand, with public areas beautifully decorated, creating a very pleasant atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, from check-in to check-out, and very quick to respond to any requests. The facilities are comprehensive and modern; both the bedding comfort and bathroom amenities were excellent, completely exceeding my expectations. Even though it was just a two-night stay, I truly felt the hotel's dedication and quality. It offers great value for money, and I'll definitely recommend it to friends and look forward to staying again!

The hotel staff were polite and friendly. The hotel facilities are mostly complete; some things are a bit old, but it's clear they've been maintained and replaced. The toilet and bathtub are new, but the lights and furniture are a bit dated, and the windows are a bit hard to open. The hygiene is acceptable; the bathroom has a slight odor, but it's tolerable. The bedding was clean, but some corners were quite dusty.

Malapit lang sa 7/11 at family mart, walking distance lang din sa taoyuan train station. Nsa baba lang ang carrefour. Everyday palit mg towel at water bottles. Malinis at super affordable. Thank you.

CCharlene teeLove the room, clean and spacious. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Room is exactly what you seen on trip.com/hotel site. Water dispensers x2 on the floor, mine was level 9. Complimentary chips and drinks. Accessing to the place via HSR, whereby have to navigate the luggages through the stone roads of Gloria Outlet posed slight challenge. Signs in Gloria outlet is a bit lacking after exited from HSR station. Nearby hotel has lots of restaurants and eateries, and food court in landmark mall or in Gloria outlet. And the link bridge between Gloria outlet and Landmark mall/hotel opens 11am, so have to watch out on this should you have an earlier plane or journey to make. I have a picture of how they worked out, so hope is helpful.

DDazelLocated conveniently beside Airport Hotel station of the Taoyuan Airport MRT line, it is a perfect place to spend the night if you have an early morning flight to catch. The hotel also provides free shuttle services to the airport!

GGuest UserI stayed at the Benz hotel for a 4 day shopping and foodie trip at the end of February 2026 and it turned out to be a gem. I arrived late around 23:00 and was greeted by a friendly staff that had my room ready. I had just taken a short 18 minute walk to the hotel from the A22 Laojie River Station where I arrived on the direct blue commuter train from the airport. At first I could not find the Benz hotel entrance, but after asking for directions I was pointed to the front desk of the Bentley hotel where on the wall behind the desk clerks are both hotel names, Bentley and Benz. When I had booked the room the Bentley was offered at a slightly higher cost, and seeing I was on a budget trip alone, I booked the Benz. After checking in, I was directed to the Benz hotel elevator around the corner of the front desk. Further down are the elevators for the Bentley,here is the noticeable difference between the two hotels, The Benz is one elevator approximately 3 feet by 6 feet, and the Bentley has 2 very large beautiful elevators. When I got to my room I did my normal checks for bugs, cleanliness and non-smell. All had passed with flying colors. The room was great with amenities and plenty in size. The bed was firm but not hard, the TV was hard to hear when the AC was running but besides those things it's a great deal and place to stay. The breakfast was outstanding. Healthy, fresh and hot and a new menu each day. It was more in the asian style and not like your western style, which I much prefer. The coffee machine was perfect and the selection of food was abundant. Overall I would stay again. Public transportation was close by, Taxi, Trains and bus stations within blocks and easy walking. The street has a lot of construction and could be rather intimidating, if you are not the type that can feel comfortable with the odd surroundings that are here.

GGuest User2nd staying after 2024. Good location, facilities fair enough. However, was very disappointed from attitude of clerk in front desk. Need some education and guidance to them. Maybe ‘she’ was in bad mood in person but we didnt have to get bad feelings.

GGuest UserLocated in the city center, it's very convenient for getting around. A pedestrian street is right outside, and the night market is just a 10-15 minute walk away. The long-distance bus station is also nearby. However, there's no parking.

JJodieGThe staff were really lovely and I'm sure that had I have spoken Chinese, the things I'm about to say would've been different as I would've been able to explain them over the phone and get them rectified. 
CONS: I didn't get there until almost 1 am due to a flight delay and then missing the last MTR, so by the time I did get there all I wanted was a hot bath and a quiet night's sleep.
Firstly, the room had definitely had smokers in it previously. They may have done a treatment but it was still noticeable.
Secondly, there was 'hair' in the bathtub from a previous occupant. So I definitely didn't use it.
Thirdly, I got almost no sleep – even though the bed was really comfortable – because the smoke alarm in the room needed its battery replaced and spent all night making that very loud high-pitched sound that you cannot ignore!
Now again, had I've been able to pick up the phone and ask them to come and sort it, it could have been a different story, but...
PROS: the room was a great size, and the bathroom had both a spa bath and a walk-in shower. It also was very large and is well set up for customers to drive their vehicle into the ground floor of the unit then go up the stairs to the first floor where the actual room is. The staff were very nice and welcoming even though I arrived so late and even gave me some instant noodle cups. I also got a voucher for breakfast, but didn't end up getting to use it as I was too tired to get out of bed and go there before it finished. 
I may not be the target clientele for this establishment, and while this particular stay had farcical elements, now that I know what it's like and how it works, I probably would stay there again simply due to how nice the staff were. It's not their fault that I don't speak Chinese.
