"Considering this place a 4 star isn't really a match with 4 star average. I got kinda disappointed by the customer service. Early check in and late check out was basically not possible. They wanted to charge me 700 ntd for 1 hour of late check out, is it a joke? At check in (1.30h before regular check in time) the front desk agent asked me if that room was okay for me, since she asked I kindly asked if it would be possible to have a room on a higher floor instead, she mentioned that the housekeeping didn't finish the cleaning on other floors but she added that they have prepared this room in advance for me since it was ready. I agree on getting that room since I was in a rush, after check in formalities have been concluded she tells me that the room isn't ready yet, she asked me to step on the side for a few minutes, then had to wait 42 minutes before she called me again giving me the keys. I was shocked. Definitely won't be going back here."

"This Thai-style hotel is truly amazing; it felt like I was instantly transported to Chiang Mai. Especially loved the elephant folded from a bath towel on the bed! Although the hotel itself doesn't have its own parking, there are plenty of parking options nearby. The front desk lady was very patient in explaining the locations and walking distances, which showed great care and respect. If I get the chance to visit Chiayi again, I'd definitely try other room styles!"

"I stayed in a Japanese-style king-size room. The hotel offers underground parking (some with mechanical parking), though the spaces are small. Bicycles can be borrowed free of charge in the lobby. The room was spacious and the decor was comfortable, though standard. The bathroom had separate wet and dry areas, and the toiletries were ********* brands, which was very considerate. I'd definitely stay there again."

"The location is fantastic, right next to Chiayi train station, which made it super convenient for trips to and from Alishan. Everything else was pretty good too, and the breakfast was decent enough to fill me up. My only complaint was how loud the air conditioning in my room was – I definitely needed earplugs to sleep."

"The location is super convenient, right near the Cultural Night Market. My family and I were in Chiayi for Pkmn events, and it was great to be able to pop back to the hotel for a rest whenever we got tired from walking around. The front desk staff and breakfast service staff were all really friendly! 👍 The air conditioning in the room was strong, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. I'd definitely stay here again if I get the chance!"

"The room is cozy and clean. The only downside was the toilet seat is without heat warmer and bidet. But the location was great as it is walking distance to the night market and also 10mins walking distance to the hinoki village. The hotel offers cab service go bring us up to Alishan mountain and the driver was very on time. They even gave us free vouchers to claim for snacks and coffee/tea/alcohol at the bar area at lobby to chill."

"My kids love this hotel very much. It's fun and enjoy at the common area which equip with kids area with toys, kitchen with some simple kitchenware include stovw and microwave oven. Some free snack and tea for free. Some chargeable foods and drinks. Have reading area as well. Each floor have different theme and you can collect the stamp for memory too. Location is very near to Fengjia night market. Overall, it's good to stay and convenience location. Recommend to stay and will stay again if visit Taichung again in the future."

"Great convenient location, and the room and bathroom were very clean. The bed was a bit firm. You can rent towels and toothbrushes, and shower gel, shampoo, and a hairdryer are provided. The service attitude wasn't bad; I'd seen some online reviews saying it was, but I found the male staff at the front desk to be perfectly fine. It's good value for the price!"

"The hotel was about 800 meters from the train station. It was close to the night market. Hinoki Village was a little longer walk but still close to the hotel. Since the train / bus station was close, it was easy to get transportation to Alishan National Forest. The rooms were large. The bath had an enclosed shower stall. Sink was in the bedroom area. A kettle, refrigerator and hair dryer are in the room. Liquid hand soap at the sink (which you do not see often in Taiwan). That was much appreciated! Free hot/cold/warm water dispenser in the lobby. The front desk is very helpful. They have a large capacity washer and dryer on the 5th floor (50 TWD per washer load). Floors are secured by elevator room card keys."

"Good location right at the city center. Walkable distance to the nearby night market and the cool coffee shop street. Basic amenities and breakfast. The carpet in the room could be cleaned up a bit more, but you get what you paid for $1125 a night is pretty standard for a 3 start hotel in Chiayi. Noise level is low, pretty quiet room. The mattress in our room is a bit caved in and somehow we can feel the springs . The team is attentive and helpful tho’ which we appreciate. Overall ok experience"
