"The hotel is very nice, a real classical beauty. The public spaces and the pool are very nice too, and the breakfast is good. The only thing I really disliked is the Checkin/Checkout process... We lost a lot of time at the arrival, when all you want is get to your room as quick as possible."

"Nice small hotel with big rooms, a pool lane and a small but quite acceptable gym. Friendly staff, decent breakfast (western style). Perfect location, at the heart of the best neighborhood in Rio, walking distance from the beach, nice restaurants, trendy bars and shopping. Two problems: 1. in most rooms the air con throws the air on the bed; 2. Wi-fi is generally weak, which may be a discouragement for those who do not have access to local networks. "

"The hotel is located in a prime area in Rio de Janeiro, very close to Ipanema Beach, within walking distance. From there, you can easily reach the main beaches and attractions. Reception, check-in and check-out are very easy. The rooms are clean, with comfortable beds, good quality shower amenities (shampoo, conditioner and soap), clean towels and sheets. There are amenities for purchase in the minibar (beer, chocolate, water and soft drinks). There was breakfast included (in my reservation) and there was good quality Brazilian style food, including cheese bread. The staff was very welcoming and polite. It is a very good hotel with a fair price."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the B&B Hotel. We were warmly welcomed with a drink and excellent hospitality from the staff. Our room was very clean, although as the building is undergoing renovations, there are still a few details that will be improved, but nothing that detracted from our stay. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, with many fruit options. I highly recommend it!"

"Overall Hotel Vermont is located at a very good location. It is right smack in Ipanema with a lot of convenience stores and restaurants around and about a 5 min walk to the beach. They have the bare necessities of a hotel, and even provide you with a card for a beach towel. The hotel has 2 blocks and I stayed at the one at the back. The rooms and facilities are a bit dated but other than that the staff are friendly and helpful and the location is great."
