"There is a nice pub bar downstair. Be prepared for some noise until 10 or 11 pm. They have clean common bathroom. Otherwise, it is a nice hotel in beautiful suburb neighborhood. Walking distance about 5 minutes to nearest train station. There is no convenient store nearby."

"The night receptionists were great, with excellent service. The location is in Zone 2, and you can catch a ride right outside the corner, though for a group, taking an Uber to the city center might be more cost-effective. The hotel's design meant that none of the bathroom doors had locks. In our first room, the bathroom door was semi-transparent with a large gap on the side, making it uncomfortable and awkward since there were four of us sharing the room. After speaking with the staff, we were moved to another room with a solid wooden bathroom door, which was much better. However, the new room's lighting was very dim, and some power outlets were loose; even their own lamp would fall out. The small cooking light in the kitchen was also broken. The towel rack in the bathroom was attached to the ceiling, but the ceiling around it was cracked and looked like it was about to fall, which felt quite dangerous. One day, I requested room cleaning and left a note asking them not to make the bed, but the staff didn't even empty the bathroom trash; instead, they left a trash bag for me to change myself.... There were only two tissues left, and they weren't refilled. When I went down to the reception, the staff said they could only make a note to refill them tomorrow, as they didn't have any immediately available. There was no phone in the room, so I had to go to the front desk myself to find staff. Each shift only had one receptionist, so usually, I'd have to wait 10-15 minutes while they dealt with other guests, which was ridiculous. It's not that the staff are bad, but they are severely understaffed! Also, because there was a kitchen but no cooking utensils, when I asked the front desk, the receptionist had to personally bring a set up... they're clearly too busy!"

"super lovely staff, let me check in abit earlier and plenty of space in the room with comfy bed :) right near tramline and 15ish min walk to palais theatre where i had a concert so super convenient! no elevator incase you have big luggage but it was fine for me and super cool artwork around the place. thanks!"

"While the room quality was fair for the price, the cleanliness was a major issue. We ended up with several bug bites, suggesting the bedding—specifically the quilt and sheets—was not adequately laundered or sanitized."

"Lovely vibes, cool chill areas, community bar and community events plus the staff especially the lovely guy who booked me in was Amazing. However it's a very crappy old building with Nil working properly showers and broken toilets. I had 1 night in a nice female room which I barely even saw as I was out and Tried to rest at a 2nd booking being shoved into a mixed smelly weird noisy dorm on a top bunk with ****** knocking on the door at all hrs, one guy snoring and another twat on the phone I told off. Was stressful and I hadn't a Warm shower in a working functioning bathroom in 2 days. Not returning. If you like noisy rude tourists and old buildings with no lift carrying your bags everywhere and no showers, great!"

"Cosy and trendy apartment nicely located in South Yarra. Train station 3mn away and all convenience nearby, furthermore the area is quite trendy with plenty of bars and restaurants. The apartment was well equipped and the washing machine was a neat feature. Hotel staff was always very nice and helpful."

"Check in was simple and easy. Super spacious living and dining area. Excellent location. Overall very good except for being on the lowest floor which is very dark throughout the day. Bathroom and kitchen amenities are complete. Also the reception charged me $1 on arrival without even mentioning it is absolutely unacceptable. Only when I asked about on departure, they said it was solely to verify my credit card and would be released. Well, I suppose I should be notified by them rather than by my bank. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location is great — a pleasant area that isn’t overcrowded with tourists. The rooms are excellent, with large queen-size beds, which was very important for us. The hotel also offers a good range of facilities, including a pool, sauna, and breakfast. While the breakfast is not very extensive, it is perfectly sufficient for a few days and includes all the essentials. There is also an option to order food, which is very convenient. We would definitely be happy to return to this hotel on our next visit to Melbourne. A big thank you to the staff for everything!"
