"Stayed 2 nights – secure parking + simple comfy rooms in Hobart We booked Bay Hotel Apartments for the on-site parking, and it was worth it. Driving in Hobart CBD can be stressful, but parking right at the hotel made everything easy. The apartment was simple, clean, and quiet with a comfortable bed. Nothing fancy, but perfect for 2 nights exploring Salamanca and the waterfront on foot."

"Since other room types were fully booked, I ended up reserving a motel-style room in the annex building. The annex doesn't have an elevator and you have to walk down, which initially felt a bit eerie. However, I later found out the room had a window facing a courtyard, so it turned out to be okay. The facilities are quite basic and dated, but the water pressure is good and the price is relatively cheap. The best part is the free parking (parking on the second level is the most convenient)."

"The hotel's amenities are probably top-notch for an Ibis in Australia, and the room was neat and clean. The air conditioning in our first room wasn't working, and Mr. Amin was incredibly kind and proactive in helping us. He provided a Dyson fan to address the issue and promptly followed up on the room's temperature. When he learned it still wasn't resolved, he consulted his supervisor to arrange a room change. He also helped us with our luggage and moved the original fan to the new room as a backup. I felt like this level of service was on par with The Ritz, and I was deeply touched. Thank you, Mr. Amin."

"The hotel's location is super convenient, 10/10. As soon as you step out, you're at the pier, and all the tourist attractions are nearby. The airport bus also goes directly here. However, the carpet tends to be a bit dusty, and the shower pressure isn't strong enough. On the bright side, the staff's attitude is excellent, 10/10, making you feel right at home."

"The hotel was clean and well-maintained. The room was spacious, and even had a small balcony with beautiful views to wake up to! The bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything, including a washing machine. The bus stop right outside made it super convenient to get around. They cleaned the room daily, and I was very satisfied with my four-night stay!"

"We had a wonderful stay at the Best Western Hotel. The suite is just perfect for me, hubby and sister. The room is spacious and clean. The counter staff were helpful and responsive. Love.the happy hour! The bartender was sweet to let us sample the different types of beers. The restaurant service was fast and the food was hearty and yummy. If you have plans to join a day tour, Best Western is one of the pick-up point otherwise the walking to the St Brooke Pier is just 10 mins away. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes around the hotel."

"As a solo traveler on my first trip to Tasmania, I stayed two nights at this historic century-old hotel and was very satisfied overall! Explorers returning from Antarctic expeditions even stayed here back in the day! Facilities: It's an old building with a lot of history, but the interior facilities are very standard and comfortable for a good rest. The room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and the mini-bar had complimentary tea bags and biscuits, as well as alcoholic beverages and snacks for purchase. Cleanliness: Extremely clean. The bathroom provided bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths, along with shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. Service: The front desk staff were very welcoming. When checking out, they asked about my stay and chatted about where I was heading next. The service staff all seemed quite easygoing. The only thing to note is that the power outlets in the room are all near the carpet, with no outlets by the table. So, when charging my phone, I had to place it on the carpet. The outlets are the same as in China, so no adapter is needed. Hobart is also a small city, and it's not far from the hotel to the Hobart Transit Centre or the Skybus station for the airport shuttle."

"Had a wonderful stay at Vibe Hotel Hobart. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained throughout our stay. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The hotel’s location was also very convenient for exploring Hobart. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely stay here again on my next visit. One small suggestion for improvement would be to provide room slippers, as this would make the stay even more comfortable. Other than that, everything was excellent. Highly recommended!"

"This hostel was pretty clean, which I appreciated. They even let me check in early around 10 AM, and the staff were incredibly helpful. The only major downside, and it's a big one, is how tiny the kitchen is. When everyone's trying to cook, it gets incredibly crowded. There's also no TV room, so you're stuck socializing in your own room or in that cramped kitchen."
