Hotels near Schallmoos, Salzburg

"Overall a really pleasant stay. Location was great, with a 24h mart at petrol station just beside the hotel, and 2 min walk to a row of supermarkets nearby. Bus stop just beside hotel with easy access to the Salzburg central station and to the city. Room is slightly dated, though with interesting music/mozart design carpets. Toilet looked more modern with good water pressure. Service was also good, receptionists were friendly. Will consider returning if I’m back in Salzburg."

"Quiet location, not far from the pedestrian street. The breakfast was good, the coffee and hot chocolate were very fragrant. There is a parking space at the door. Hot water, wifi are no problem. We are early, the front desk can store luggage."

"Very close to the train station, but a little distance to the core scenic spot of the old city, there are 21 buses nearby, it is convenient. The front desk gave a free bus code for two days. The breakfast was exquisite and the room was spacious and comfortable. There are grass around, suitable for walking. But there is no elevator, thanks to the little girl at the front desk to help with the luggage."

"The hotel is great, only a 10-minute walk from the train station, with many bus routes nearby, making it very convenient to get to the lake area. The hotel environment is lovely, elegant yet artistic. There's a small mall directly opposite the hotel, with a supermarket on the basement floor, which is very handy for shopping. The front desk staff are all enthusiastic and beautiful."

"We had a good stay at Holiday Inn Salzburg City. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. It’s close to the city center, and many attractions can be reached on foot, which made exploring Salzburg very convenient. The room was clean and had everything we needed. However, one small issue was that the electric kettle in our room wasn’t working. We tried to contact the front desk after 10:00 PM, but there was no one available to assist us at that time, so we couldn’t get it replaced."

"Lovely hotel with a great location and a spacious terrace. The room was a good size, and the bathroom wasn't cramped either. My only minor complaint: a small fridge would have been nice; otherwise, I had to eat all the Mozartkugeln myself! 😄 Would definitely book this hotel again!"

"Online in person registration should be illegal lmao, what are humans for then? I agree with Pre online checking but in person online checking is kinda dumb. Also want to mention that you guys send too much emails, especially annoying when its not translated into the traveler language. Appart from that it was clean, simple but nice hotel. I would recommend it, good value! Lacks better luminosity in the bathroom. Toilets and sink area are too dark."

"The hotel is located right next to the interchange, and there's a bus stop for bus route 21 downstairs. The hotel has a parking lot, but there's a McDonald's downstairs, and some of the parking spaces are for McDonald's customers. You need to look for spaces with 'B&B' written inside them to find the hotel's spots. Parking costs 10 Euros per day. The parking lot is accessed by driving up a ramp, and there are also outdoor spaces. The ones near McDonald's are not for the hotel. The parking lot adjacent to the hotel has both stairs and an elevator that go up to the front desk level. There's also an elevator inside the hotel to access other floors and the ground level. The hotel has a more modern decor but lacks amenities. There's no fridge in the room, and when I asked at the front desk, they also don't have an ice machine. The room size is decent. When you check in, the front desk will ask if you need a transport card; you can get one for the duration of your stay, which allows free rides on city buses. You can reach the old town center in about half an hour, which is actually quite convenient. There's a Lidl supermarket one bus stop away, or a 15-minute walk. Overall, it was a pretty good experience."

"Hotel is new, very clean, good expensive plumbing, comfortable beds. Quiet, good soundproofing. Breakfast is standard, but quite good. A 15-minute walk from the hotel has a beautiful lake with a beach where it is pleasant to swim with children in the summer. From the downsides: location on the outskirts, to the central station and the city center 20-25 minutes on the trolleybus. That is not so scary. But it is necessary to take into account that the trolleybus only goes one route. And when you come to the stop you can spend more 10-15 minutes on his waiting. Also in the hotel for some reason did not work Wi-Fi. There was no network in general those 2 days that lived there. On the respiratory said ”forgive, the problem is fixed” - but the Internet never appeared ( Also, when the settlement in the room at all there was no teapot or towel and I had to go to the resepschn ... After 30 minutes all brought ... But in general a strange approach. The first time I face such - the more like Hilton ...) But overall the hotel liked it. At key points - comfortable sleep, silence, cleanliness - everything is great!"

"The environment is very good, the location is good, relatively quiet, the overall health is very good, the breakfast is very rich, the service is very warm, and the tourist map of Salzburg is also presented. Parking is convenient. It has its own parking lot, but it needs 20 euros. You can park the car here and walk to various attractions."
