"We chose Das Edlinger because its price was very reasonable compared to other hotels in central Salzburg, and overall it was a good choice for our family of four. The room was spacious enough for all of us and provided a comfortable stay. The bed was a bit too soft for our liking, but it was still acceptable. The toilet and shower are separated, which is convenient, although both spaces are on the smaller side. The hotel is located a little farther from the city center, but there is a Bus 1 stop right in front of the hotel that takes you directly into the center. However, the bus frequency on weekends is not great, with only one bus per hour at times, so it’s important to keep an eye on the schedule. Otherwise, you may end up wasting valuable sightseeing time waiting for transportation. A special mention goes to Fahad at the reception. He was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. We had some unpleasant encounters with a few people in Salzburg and didn’t leave with the best impression of the city, but Fahad’s kindness and professionalism helped offset some of those negative experiences and made our stay much more enjoyable."

"My stay at myNext Riverside Hotel Salzburg had a mix of pros and cons. While the hotel is next to the Salzburg Mülln-Altstadt station, it's a railway station, not a subway, so train services are infrequent. You can't assume convenient transportation just because the map shows it near a station. Walking to the city center, Old Town, or the fortress isn't very convenient, and the closest bus stop is about a 7 to 10-minute walk away. The hotel does provide free public transport tickets, which helps offset travel costs, but you still need to factor in walking and waiting times. Therefore, I'd rate the location 3/5. The hotel is situated by the river, offering pleasant views. If you have plenty of time, you can enjoy a comfortable hour-long round-trip walk along the river to the Old Town. The common lounge has a shared kitchen and a large refrigerator that guests can use for free, which is great for preparing your own meals. For this reason, I'd give the facilities a perfect 5/5. However, it's worth noting that behind our room was some dense foliage. On our second night, we found a large cockroach in the room. The bath towels had a musty smell, and the shower water flow and pressure in the bathroom were quite weak. So, cleanliness gets a 3/5. On the positive side, the staff were incredibly friendly and proactively recommended local restaurants and cafes, offering very useful suggestions. I'd give the service a full 5/5. Overall, the hotel boasts excellent public facilities, a comfortable riverside view, and great service, but there's room for improvement regarding transportation convenience, in-room cleanliness, and bathroom water pressure."

"This was my second stay here. Just like last time, the front desk staff were incredibly polite and helpful, making for a very comfortable visit. This time I booked the cheapest room, so I was on a lower floor, but I didn't find it inconvenient at all. I actually enjoyed watching the trains go by on the tracks next door. The breakfast was as delicious as I remembered from my last visit. From the 15th-floor restaurant, the weather was beautiful, and I had a clear view of the distant mountains. It was very hot during my stay, but the air conditioning worked perfectly, keeping the room nice and cool. The room itself was functional and easy to use, though it didn't come with a coffee cup or kettle. We brought our own water heater, but it looked like you could buy coffee and other drinks from the vending machines on the first floor if you needed something. The coke, beer, and sparkling water in the mini-fridge were complimentary."

"Had a very wonderful stay at Austria Trend Hotel Europa. The staff professionalism in handling my request on the room and also manage to deal with the issue regarding the Salzburg Guest Mobility Ticket on the day of arrival is a plus point before even my check-in. Allow up to 12pm to check out also allow flexibility for me to do some last sightseeing of the City before leaving. Overall I am very satisfy with my stay and do not regret my selection of choosing this hotel."

"Location is close to the train station just within 5 minutes walking distant. There is a daily open supermarket. That's perfect. The room looked claen but I was bitten by something to be suspected as bed bugs at night. We bought Salzburg card at reception at rate lower than websites. However staff is not very helpful. They did not tell us that you can get a free Guest Mobility Ticket during our stay. You need to ask. Also, we tried to scan QR code in the room to request room cleaning service but it requested us to sign in the apps. I asked the staff I failed to sign up the apps and the staff just asked me to go to the reception again in the next morning to request the cleaning and she was not willing to promote their company's apps. Also, during our stay, seems like there were school activities and many kids stayed there. They played and layed on the corridor outside our room door at night even after 9 p.m. The kids were polite and let us way go inside but the door doesn't seem to be very well soundproofed. We can still heard their voice."

"Overall, it was okay. There's a fridge and a kettle. The mattress was on the firmer side, which I prefer, and it was the most comfortable mattress I've slept on while traveling. However, I strongly recommend replacing the old pillow inserts; the filling has turned into clumps of cotton, and I had to fold a bath towel to put on top of the pillow just to make it usable. I had to specifically ask the front desk for the Salzburg tourist transport card; they didn't offer it proactively. The sink stopper needs to be pulled out to drain the water, and I'm not sure if it needs repair or if it's a unique design. There was a brown hair hidden deep inside the two-in-one shampoo and body wash bottle, which I only noticed after the first use. It would pop out when pressing the bottle and then retract after a while. At first, I thought it was just shower gel clinging to the nozzle, but then I clearly saw the hair follicle at the root. On the second day, I decided not to use the body wash at all."

"Good points •The room was very clean •The bed was fluffy •The sink, toilet, and bath area had heated floors (it was warmer than the room, so I left the door open) •The access to the tourist spots was good •The soaps smelled nice Other points that surprised me or disappointed me •There was a 50 euro deposit (I think this is normal overseas) •For some reason I paid 10 euros when I checked in (I don't speak English, so I don't really understand, and there was no sign of paying on site when I paid in advance) •There was no crosswalk to cross to Europark across the street, so it was a long detour •I wish they had a kettle that could boil water instead of Nescafe •The temperature of the air conditioner couldn't be adjusted (I tried to turn it up because it was a bit chilly, but the temperature couldn't be changed up or down)"

"I had a wonderful stay at Leonardo Salzburg! The customer service was truly superb. I’d like to especially compliment the receptionists, Juliana and Mary — and a big shoutout to Juliana. I arrived at the hotel earlier than the usual check-in time, and they kindly allowed us to check in early with just a short wait of about 20 minutes. During the wait, they even offered us coffee and pastries, which was such a thoughtful touch. Juliana was incredibly friendly, polite, and patient in answering all my queries. Her warm hospitality really made my stay feel special. Thank you to the team at Leonardo Salzburg for such a pleasant experience. Highly recommended!"

"The stay at Astoria Hotel was primarily to be reasonably close to the airport for a morning flight. To this end it was perfect. The check in was easy and they provided a lot of information on what was around and how best to get there. The room was nice and ideal for our short stay and the breakfast included was good and good options. The bus stops to the centre is almost outside and from the centre is around 150 metres away."

"The hotel is a bit far from the city center, requiring a bus ride. However, the #21 bus to downtown stops right downstairs, and the hotel even provides a complimentary 3-day bus pass, which is a great perk! The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the front desk staff were incredibly patient in answering all our questions."
