GO2 Lancaster Centre Hotel by OYO
"Good clean and simple rooms"
Quite Simply French ★★★
go2 lancaster centre hotel ★★
"The location is great, I give it 5 points. The only downside is that the bed is too small... everything else is OK."
The Royal Hotel ★★★
"The rooms are rather cramped, but clean to a reasonable degree. The bathroom is relatively new. However, due to the room being right next to the kitchen exhaust pipe, there is considerable noise from the exhaust before the restaurant closes at night and after breakfast preparation begins in the morning, leaving a noticeable smell of cooking fumes in the room. Parking is available in the free parking lot across the street, which is convenient."
The County Lodge ★★★
The Royal Hotel and Bar ★★★
"Superb accommodation and the staff were, really friendly and helpful. I’d recommend this hotel for anyone staying over in Lancaster for the evening or weekend."
The Borough Lancaster ★★★★
"We stayed one night ten days apart in the newly refurbished rooms in the courtyard. The bed was huge and lovely and comfy. The evening meal and breakfast the next day were delicious and generous portions. They cater for gluten free, vegetarian and vegan. The bar looked well stocked with an array of wines and spirits. All the staff we met were friendly and chatty and made us welcome. Ideal place to stop on our drive to Scotland and back again. We had to pay for overnight parking very nearby but plenty of spaces and not unreasonable."
Secret Suites ★★★★
"My wife and I have stayed in both Suite 1 and Suite 2 at Secret Suites. Most recently, Suite 2. The rooms are decorated and furnished to an extremely high standard and the rooms scream luxury. In Suite 2 there is a massive jacuzzi bath that I could've soaked in for hours. There were clear and concise instructions on how to use the jacuzzi bath, which was very helpful. The fridge in the suite was stocked up with complimentary prosecco, beer, coke and water. There is also a coffee machine and a kettle for the morning brew with a selection of biscuits. The TV is a good size and has apps like Netflix and Prime all set up, ready to go. The bed is like sleeping on a cloud, it was so comfy. We had the best night sleep. There is an outside seating area, which will be great when it comes to summer time, it was a bit nippy when we went, so didn't have chance to use this facility. Secret Suites is located in the centre of Lancaster, so there are plenty of pubs, cafe's and restaurants at a walking distance. There is the option for parking, but if private parking isn't available, there are plenty of local pay and display car parks that aren't too expensive. The owners were very welcoming and communication was superb. All updates sent to me via WhatsApp with key code, parking, etc all sent promptly. I'd highly recommend Secret Suite's and we can't wait to go back again."
Premier Inn Lancaster ★★★
"Great Location, Easy Access, Not to bad overall for a few nights stay with family. Very easy Check in & Check out system too."

North Lodge
"We booked this property for a group gathering, largely because it advertised a hot tub, garden and outdoor space, which we planned to use for a family barbecue and breakfast. We came prepared with food, only to find on arrival that the outdoor area was completely unusable. The garden was poorly maintained, overgrown, strewn with rubbish and unclean, with broken fencing and rusted barbecue/fire pit equipment. The area was not in a condition we felt able to use. As this was a key reason for choosing the property, it was extremely disappointing and meant we had to change our plans and pay to eat out instead. When we raised these issues on our return, the management company and owner took no responsibility, offering only excuses and even suggesting we must be referring to a different property. Based on other reviews, this does not appear to be an isolated experience. The property itself has real potential. The building is attractive and the location is excellent, but it is very basic and in clear need of updating. Outdoor maintenance and proper cleaning are urgently required. The beds are uncomfortable, the bathrooms are very small and the living areas feel tired. Overall, a disappointing stay, made worse by the lack of accountability."
Inside No 9 Retreat Carnforth
"Overall the stay was pleasant. Places are clean and cozy. Just that the heater was working properly and hot water discontinued from time to time. It was kind of painful suddenly without hot water while taking a shower. The owner tried to arrange someone to fix it the next day but the problem persisted."
