We had a wonderful experience at this location. The host was very welcoming and the food was excellent. The rooms are beautiful and the location is very relaxing. Close to many cultural sites of significance. Make this your base in the area.

We stayed for four nights at Tambo Sapalanchan in May 2023. We choose this place simply because we wanted to visit the Sarcophages of Karajia, but we got a lot more than we expected. The hotel is just spectacular, equipped with first class Peruvian art of better quality than found in an average museum. Our room was spacious, very comfortable, beautifully decorated, and equipped with a superb bed. The meals are good and prepared by Paul, the owner himself. Moreover, Paul also offers excursions to nearby attractions, which we really enjoyed a lot. What we, however, appreciated most is the personal atmosphere, thanks to Paul, who is undoubtedly a perfect host. Thank you, Paul, for the unforgettable four days at Tambo Sapalanchan.

Wij hebben ontzettend genoten van ons verblijf in Tambo Sapalanchan. Jammer dat het maar voor één nachtje was want dat hadden er gerust meer mogen zijn. De kamers zijn gevestigd in 5 huisjes die verspreid staan op het uitgestrekte en uiterst verzorgde domein. Elk huisje huisvest 2 ruime, lichte en schitterend gedecoreerde kamers met dressing en grote badkamer. Voor onze kamer stonden twee ligzetels waar we 's avonds het aperitief in konden nemen met zicht op de prachtige omgeving én de twee alpaca's die mee voor het onderhoud van het tuin zorgen. Heerlijk! Ook heerlijk was het avondeten. Wij genoten van een heel erg lekkere huisbereide Italiaanse pastaschotel -een erg welkome afwisseling na wekenlang de Peruaanse keuken gehad te hebben- met een heerlijk & zeer correct geprijsd Peruaans wijntje. Erg attent ook dat Paul blijkbaar bij het inchecken had gemerkt dat het die dag mijn partner zijn verjaardag was en bij het dessert plots tevoorschijn kwam met een heuse verjaardagstaart! Erg fijn en de kers op te taart van dit aangename, veel te korte verblijf. Wij kunnen deze mooie en warme plek alleen maar aanraden.

Me hospedé en Tambo Sapolachán los días anteriores a año nuevo 2022. El hotel es espectacular. Física y visualmente es precioso. Los bungalows son muy agradables y están rodeados de toda la naturaleza característica de la zona. El restaurante y la zona de recepción cuentan también con una muy bonita y peculiar decoración. La cocina, a cargo de Jean Paul, es de primera. Finalmente, la atención en el hotel también fue muy buena. El trato tanto con Jean Paul como con Paul es muy cercano, y están dispuestos a ayudar y brindar orientaciones en lo que fuese necesario. Asimismo, además de disfrutar el hotel, este se encuentra cercano a expediciones muy bonitas e interesantes como las cavernas de Quiocta y las cascadas de Lorán, entre otros. Hotel muy recomendado y una parada obligada para quien visite la región de Amazonas. Cinco estrellas de calificación bien puestas.
