Our car broke down on our way to our stay at this hotel. The hotel owner, Emmanuel, went above and beyond with his hospitality the following day while we were stuck sorting out a transportation alternative. Myself and my toddler were more than welcome to stay within the hotel well after check-out time for as long as we needed. We were also offered anything that we wanted to help make our extended stay as comfortable as possible many times! All in all, lovely stay, fabulous gardens, brilliant service!

Lovely countryside location by a lake. Comfy and characterful room. Old fashioned bathroom with separate toilet. Clean and functional. Poor shower in the bath. Needs updating. Some noise from anniversary party in the garden into the small hours. Great facilities if its your party! Continental breakfast was plentiful with homemade bread. Very limited gluten free options. Water was provided in the room but no kettle/welcome tray. Hosts very attentive and helpful.

Quiet rural location, the hotel has lovely gardens and terrace. We arrived on a Sunday night so the restaraunt had a fixed menu, it was however a very good meal. I suspect that the full menu is fantastic. The host Emanuel, is a charming friendly guy with lots of stories to tell. We were traveling in a classic car so parking is a concern for us, although the hotel parking is outside, it is secluded at the rear and safe. We will return in September on our motorcycle.

My wife and I stayed at Logis Hôtel le Manoir des Portes on a round-trip cycling trip this week. The weather was hot and so it was a great relief to reach this calm hotel, enjoy dinner outside looking over the gardens and to meet the two owners and their nice cat Virgo. Highly recommended

Perfect place for a 60th birthday weekend. We had a party of 22 people and had the whole hotel to ourselves. Nothing was too much trouble for Carole and William who are great hosts. The food was amazing. Very relaxed setting, cosy hotel and great access for St Malo.

Once again the Manior des Porte did not disappoint. Under new management but no compromise on the freshness and quality of the food. I am looking forward to visiting again during bbq season when they will be running a grill outside in the summer. We have visited the restaurant in the past and have always found it charming. Congratulations on your new venture and wishing you every success

Friendly welcome and good experience. We will be back. We were lucky enough to be given upgraded large room. Good facilities. Coffee and tea making facilities in room. Comfortable bed. Clean bathroom. Good Demi-pension evening meal and breakfast.
