Hurricane Helene left an unprecedented amount of debris, and while cleanup efforts are underway with the US Army Corps of Engineers, the lake will likely remain closed for the 2025 summer season.But while the water may be off-limits, the magic of Lake Lure is still here—breathtaking views, charming restaurants, local vineyards, scenic trails, Rumbling Bald golf courses, and the Tryon Equestrian Center just 25 minutes away. Located on the main channel and just 10 minutes to restaurants, groceries, Lake Lure Beach, and the village of Chimney Rock, you will never want to leave. The lower-level family room features a stacked stone wall with a wood stove and comfortable furnishings. The 4 guest rooms will provide space and privacy for up to 10-12 guests. While the inside is equipped with modern amenities including smart tv's, cable, wifi, you'll have a tough time pulling yourself away from the abundance of outdoor spaces, including 2 large deck spaces to gather. The upper & lower decks are built around a mature oak that provides shade from summer sun yet allows open views year-round. Take a walk down to the boathouse, where there is direct access into the lake and you will spend hours enjoying the views from spacious sunning deck. Step inside where you will have access to kayak's and paddles boards. One of the most unique details of this lake house is the additional full bath right in the boathouse, as well as an extra refrigerator and game room with a ping pong table! Pets: This home and property are very dog friendly, and guests are welcome to bring their "best friends" with them. There is a non-refundable Pet Fee of $130 with a limit of 2 dogs per booking party.
