Residence Inn Lake Charles

Great location. Probably one of the better breakfasts. Room was spacious and well appointed

It was a little run down and the tv didn’t work in The room so we changed rooms. Staff was friendly but hotel was just OK. Kinda old and rusty and stain on The bedspread. But breakfast was great and it was a place to rest our heads for one night so not complaining too much Not a four star Marriott for sure but the price was right and staff made up for the tired old hotel

We checked in very late but the receptionist was prompt and very accommodating. Every thing was fine - did not have an iron in my room. Had to make multiple requests that morning in order to finally get it..

This property was very clean and well-kept. This is one of the best hotels that I have stayed in while being in Lake Charles.

We stopped just for the night. The room was spacious and comfortable. We had no set time to wake up however we are early risers (3-4am) we actually slept until 6 am. The bed was comfy! While checking in the computers were down so it took a little longer than expected but staff was patient with everyone and did a great job taking care of everything

I made a reservation in April of last year for this room. The room reserved was an accessible room, King bed studio. I called to stress we needed a low floor due to mobility issues. Two days before arrival I again made sure the hotel understood our requests. When we arrived we were told our room was on the 3rd floor and was not accessible. There was a room on the 2nd floor but that was not accessible either. The only accessible rooms available were on the 6th floor. Talk about dropping the ball—this hotel did. We are Platinum Elite status with Marriott and were not happy at all. I told them my review would reflect the poor treatment we received. The manager on duty made no apologies for their mistake. Instead she had a rude attitude and horrible customer service. We left and found a room in another hotel where we were treated much better.
