great location. air conditioned didn’t cool off room to personal comfort

We stayed here on our way to New Orleans, checked in late but the staff were helpful over the chat feature on the Marriott app. Breakfast was very good and typical for Springhill's. Had a great sleep, hotel is clean, great condition and very fairly priced!

With so many hotels right in this cluster, Springhill Suites stands out as a clear winner. Excellent staff, spacious room, and easy access made for a perfect one-night stop along our road trip. The split bath was especially nice so my husband and I could get ready simultaneously. If you’re considering a Lake Charles stay, this is your best choice.

My spouse and I last stayed at this property in January 2023. The rooms look to be renovated as in room carpet has been replaced with wood flooring. Housekeeping needs improvement. Our microwave interior was dirty and the floor in the toilet room had dirt under sliding barn type door visible when the door is closed. The breakfast was lacking in that there were no scrambled eggs or waffle machine offered. Only hot food was pork sausage patties and Marriott 2.0 Breakfast sandwich which is terrible. Hot oatmeal was available. Marriott needs to improve their breakfast offerings as Wyndham is better in this regard.

Had the pleasure of staying at this hotel while in town for a cheer competition at Burton Coliseum. I really enjoyed my stay here. It’s centrally located with a ***** of other hotels and there are lots of places to eat and shop. Nearby is Target, Hobby Lobby, Marshall’s, and Ross. Olive Garden Walmart Panera bread and chick fil is also right across the highway. The beds were comfortable and the room felt like a suite. I had double beds and a little sitting area with a sofa and office table/chair. I could do some work while here. I loved how the toilet and shower were separate to allow others to get dressed and used toilet at the same time. Pros: centrally located to a lot of things, comfortable beds, easy check in, free breakfast, gym, pool Cons: only one person working desk at night managing front entry, phones, and housekeeping. middle table in between beds lacked an electrical outlet, the front desk market choices are expensive(10 dollars for a drink and pringles cup), and breakfast is nasty. I woke up with a few bite marks on my body both days but when I checked sheets for bed bugs I couldn’t really find anything. I even changed the sheets. So just watch for yourself

Front Desk Staff: Somewhat friendly, but nothing special about the staff. Rooms were clean, but do not like the barn doors for the bathroom. Breakfast was not good. Very little were prepared. No protein. Parking was fine. Location was very good. Close to restaurants and the casinos.

Nice clean modern hotel. Spacious rooms. Odd design with seperate room for the toilet which seems a poor use of space. Breakfast good. Pool closed but no signage or explanation why. Easy parking. Comfortable beds and quiet enough but close to shops/food.

I spend many nights at Marriott properties (100+) a year. This property is lacking in several areas. 1. Only 2 bath towels in suite vs 3 at other Marriott properties. 2. Peeling ceiling paint above shower in bathroom. 3. Mattress sagging and uncomfortable. 4. No scrambled eggs or breakfast meats available at breakfast. 5. Housekeeping workers constantly yelling in hallways.

Front desk help was good. Hallways smelled like pot, ripped shower curtain, no water pressure, stains on bed, trash in room. Would not stay again.
