A great place to stay for the Nordea Open, and I am definitely going to tell my fisherman brother he needs to come there and catch a nice fish in the lovely river.

Old hotel with lots of character. Friendly, helpful staff and clean rooms. Fresh breakfast, with adequate variation for all tastes.
The rooms are renovated in different styles and clean. Some of the furniture though is quite old. The main bed, at least in our room, was a reclining bed and not particularly comfortable, which was a disadvantage for the whole stay.
Although the village as a whole is quiet and picturesque, the rooms in the front of the hotel can be noisy from cars with loud music or from guests in the pub, especially on Fridays.

This is the sweetest place, both the hotel and the little town. The hotel is a classic one from the late 1800's with all the charm that comes with that period. As a fun thing, they have designed the rooms according to all the decades that the house has seen. There is a 20's room, a 60's room, etc. They've clearly done this with lots of humour and happiness, and you feel that as a guest. We stayed in the 50's room, which was very nostalgic with pictures of Elvis and Monroe and typical 50's furniture. Not the highest standard as to beds and bathroom, but absolutely charming, and there even was a kitchenette in our room, lovely REAL windows that actually OPENED out unto the pretty little square and let the sunshine in. Remember hotel windows that open? The staff was incredibly nice and accomodating. Nothing was too much trouble and they helped us in every possible way. We would gladly take this hotel over any of the high end, overdesigned, snooty places you could stay at.

Great stay.
Had a small problem with the first room so the staff moved us to the king's room. Very nice, great service and we will stay there again.
The breakfast is fabulous! Great coffee as well
