A lovely and wonderful area to visit with the most stunning geology of the area. It is certainly a very unique area with a lovely ambiance. The gravel road an easy drive and directions and access very good. Petro and her staff are amazing and very accommodating as well. The stuffed ostrich fillet and extras were wonderful together with the fire set for one. The only downside is the relatively 'busy' road which does create a bit of noise particularly daybreak and evening. I wish I could have spent another night just to be able to 'explore' around the red stone hills a bit more. I have no hesitation in recommending this place for any persons who want to get 'off' the main highways.

Excellent accommodation set between stunning red stone hills. Great value for money and the bungalow had all the modern appliances. This was our second visit to Red Stone and enjoyed every moment.

Wow, I never realised what beauty lies just beyond the R62. We have travelled this road many times, but straight through Calitzdorp and on towards Cape Town. These beautiful red stone hills are breathtaking, lots of walking opportunities and good birding. The house we stayed in was well appointed, perfect braai in the kitchen (plus an outside one), 2 bedrooms both en-suite. We ordered the dinner option and got our fire set up, lit, table set in the kitchen, food delivered etc. This was the first time we ever received this as an option, so easy, but will certainly keep a lasting impression. We will certainly be back with friends or family and stay more than 1 night.

We absolutely loved our stay in this quaint well equipped cottage. It was everything we needed for a peaceful getaway. Celia is a wonderful host and the staff were so helpful. We can't wait to return to this special place.

The cottage was ideally situated -away from the dusty road and in amongst indigenous bush with an uninterrupted view of the Red Hill. Bonus was that we saw the Booted Eagle and its juvenile up there . Also saw the Klipspringer (Buck) on the skyline. I would highlyrecommend this stay for anyone who is interested in South African fauna,flora and geology.

Enon Cottage is in a lovely location with beautiful views of the red stone hills around. The cottage is cozy and has everything you need. It was very hot while we were there so the ACs in the bedrooms was a huge bonus.
