Next time I'll try one of their neighbors instead.
Check-in was quick and easy since I had a reservation. Parking was ample. The attendants, both evening and morning, were very pleasant and willing to be helpful. Breakfast was typical/sufficient. I did go back to the front desk for towels. It is unclear if the couple that were already in the room had already been used. One hand towel in particular had red Kool-Aid type stains. It is obvious that the room needs a face lift due to gashes or spots on the walls and ceiling that made me think they were bugs. I didn't actually see any bugs. The house keeping also lacks.. Issues displayed in the pictures include something on the ceiling, a dirty tissue box, dirt and hair on the base of the toilet, and a filthy phone. I do look for budget motels but next time I'll try one of their neighbors.

Staff was friendly and helpful when we arrived. Our group required one room with handicap accessible features. Bed was to high for her w/out help; tub shower unit she could not get in and out of alone; low standard toilet instead of higher model used. the over all condidtion of the facility says 'remodle./update time'. The breakfast was ok - 2 choices cereal, milk, bread or bagel, waffle maker. Needs to be kept cleaner throughout the bkfst serving time. Coffee and Apple juice was available.

The worst hotel we have ever stayed at. Gave us an occupied room upon check in. 2nd room horrible... Rundown, filthy, damaged toilet, lumpy mattress. Every part of this hotel was JUST AWFUL!!!!

Try Your Car Instead. If you are volunteering on a budget, it might be worth spending an extra $20 to $30 elsewhere. You may even want to seriously consider sleeping in your car. I stayed at this Super 8 by Wyndham in La Vale, Maryland, two years ago. At the time, the room had been freshly painted, cleaned, and seemed ready for guests. That made this recent visit all the more shocking. What I walked into was a completely different experience. Black mold covered the bathroom ceiling. A non-smoking room reeked of cigarette smoke. There were cigarette burns on the bedding, grimy uncleaned floors, and broken furniture throughout. The overall condition was not only disappointing. It was disturbing. One has to wonder: When was the last time this property was inspected by the county health department or visited by a representative from Wyndham?

very nice stay. We have been coming to Delfest for many years. This year we noticed a change in this property. New management, cleaning upgraded , friendly and professional staff. Breakfast was very limited but there many good options nearby Thank you. see you next year. Del Yeah
