"The Resort is very nice and clean. It is very accessible and relatively new and the pools are so nice to dip in. The Beach is above average and kids friendly. The breakfast buffet is average and I think need to add up some food in the menu like bacon, sausages, variety of fruits etc. Overall the experience was nice and memorable!😍 Best view of sunset!"

"Overall, we had a good stay. The best part is definitely the location—it’s beachfront, so it’s very convenient and the view is beautiful. The only downside was the air conditioning. During the morning and midday, it wasn’t enough to cool the room because of the extreme heat, so it felt quite warm inside. However, once it was evening or early morning, the air conditioner worked well and the room became comfortable. If the cooling during the daytime is improved, the stay would be even better."

"The service was excellent, and the place was spotless and well-maintained. Since it is newly opened, everything feels fresh, clean, and inviting. The location is very convenient, situated in the heart of the city with easy access to restaurants, grocery stores, banks, and pharmacies. It is easy to find and makes visiting hassle-free. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I would gladly recommend it to others."

"This is my first time to go to beach in Ilocos and I will do it again! Isla Bonita is such a lovely place to relax and the food and service is excellent. The only thing I would say that turns me off is the entrance to parking is quite too narrow and I was the one who recommend it to my friend and her husband but my room.was too far from the beach and theirs was nearer. Im quite lazy to walk.. but its just me. I really enjoyed our stay in there."

"The hotel room is nice no complaints in that area. the hallway towards the room stinks like piggery smells. no beach nearby but a swimming pool. There is no view it’s depressing once you go outside towards the receptionist , you see the ghetto. i think the picture was from the other marand. i think it’s a false advertisement. if you want to relax this is not a place to relax. sorry the but avoid this property at all cause."

"This newly openned luxury hotel was the best botique hotel I’ve been to in San Juan La union. 🏨 (This is my 6th time in Launion lol) It’s not too far from the restaurants and cafes and not too close to the noisy nightclubs and crowds. 🎶🌊🏝️ Overall 9.69/10 and I will come back with my friends, my family and my cat 🐈 P.s. Establishment is pet friendly 🐶"

"The staff were incredibly nice and polite throughout our stay. The floors and surroundings were very clean and well-maintained, which made the place feel even more comfortable. And the sunset view? Absolutely magical such a beautiful and relaxing experience. Highly recommended! However, I was very disappointed with the Trip.com booking and refund process. I originally booked two rooms, but one of the rooms was suddenly cancelled by the hotel and trip.com. It has already been 7 days, and I still haven’t received any update regarding my refund and its hard to contact them . What made it more frustrating is that the cancellation was not on my end — they were the ones who cancelled the booking, yet the refund process is taking far too long. Because of this issue, I had to urgently look for another hotel and make another payment to cover our stay. I hope Trip.com and the hotel improve their room availability updates and customer service to avoid this kind of hassle for future guests."

"Room is clean, AC remote is not available and comfort room can be used by 2 occupied rooms, (kinda hassle). The bidet is leaking and making the floor always wet and slippery. Food is tasty. Staffs are good."

"We liked that it was (1) relatively cheap, that (2) it seemed close to the ‘center’ of Urbiz, and that (3) there were still available units despite our ‘late’ booking. HOWEVER, it was cheap because (1) the units are container vans, which had little effort of setting a ‘homey’ feel - you will feel that you are in a container van. Toiletries were also for a day use, despite staying for 3D2N, so bring your own supplies. Speaking of supply, water supply was not reliable - could be strong, weak, or no supply at all, unfortunately you cannot “bring your own supplies” here. Moreover, it may seem close to Urbiz, but its name stands up for it: “boondock” is an English term which originated from the Tagalog term “bundok,” a mountain, hence it is located uphill (40 degrees) and the road leading you there had no street lights. Lastly, there were still available units because it was not worth booking other than for a day tour or an overnight stay, who could/would cater karaoke (which was fun), but unfortunately could be heard inside ALL (assumingely) units because they are… CONTAINER VANS with no soundproofing whatsoever. P.S. the wallpapers were ugly and there was no 2nd lock inside. Photos were from Google but they are still accurate and the map is from Google Maps (Jan. 2025) and is still the case in June 2026."

I love the amenities, food, location, and most especially our room view from our balcony that I requested prior to our checked-in date. Away from the usual elyu noise at night time wherein you can really relax and enjoy the beach. If you want a very peaceful and relaxing place, don’t hesitate to booked this place ‘coz it’s worth every penny you will pay. ☺️"

"Overall, my stay at Kahuna was very pleasant, largely due to the fantastic efforts of most of the staff. The check-in process was seamless, housekeeping was meticulous, and the dining team provided wonderful service throughout the stay. However, I was quite disappointed by the lack of initiative at the front desk. When I requested assistance with booking dinner at a nearby restaurant, I was flatly told, "We don't have their contact number," with no further attempt to help, look it up, or offer alternative assistance. And this is unforgiveable. Seems like there is no managerial presence at all. I am an international hotelier and I know what service is all about. The front desk is typically the central hub of the guest cycle and sets the baseline for a property's quality service management. Experiencing such an unwillingness to assist with a standard concierge request was a stark contrast to the high standards maintained by the rest of the resort's excellent team. I hope this feedback can be used to improve front office training in the future."

"Location wise, it was good spot cause its in the center of everything. Near to everything you could think of dropping by. However, the entrance has been sort of hard to find. To get to the entrance of the establishment, you’ll pass along the tricycle terminal going down to a pay-parking lot. Once you’ve reached the lot, the entrance is on the left most corner. (Idk if it’s really where the garbage disposal is placed. But we needed to pass-thru the garbage area before reaching the establishment when we checked in). It took us about 10-15mins just looking for the entrance itself. Receptionist was very accommodating and we were even able to leave our things while waiting for the check in time so we could go around the town and look for places to eat. We were even able to check in earlier than expected. Considering the price, we actually lowered our expectation about the place. However, the cleanliness was a big point for us. Room was okay, like you get what you paid for. It has the things that you’ll need to sleep. I just hope they would add a mirror on the room, curtains on both windows, and a clean aircon filter. Good news, we were able to sleep, but woke up with allergic rhinitis. The SHOWER ROOM & CR WERE SHARED (LIKE PUBLIC SHARED-SHARED). For us, it was not the best shape for a paying guest used CR. To some it up. There are things that could’ve been cleaned or well prep for use. BEST PART, OUR ROOM WAS JUST 10-STEPS away from the beach!"

"The place is far from the action in San Juan but it offers a serene beachfront which you can enjoy to yourselves. No huge crowd. No noise when its time to rest. The owner and the staff are very accomodating too. Pet friendly, equipt with many amenities like shared kitchen, living spaces. Place is pristine with good value foe money. We would go back in a heart beat. Highly recommended!"

"Went with my bf and with other couple (our friends) and everything is nice except that the AC can't cool the whole room, thus the presence of an e-fan inside the room. No telephone or hair dryer in the room unlike what's showed here but with complementary towels and soap. The receptionist acknowledged our feedback on our checkout and we are happy! Will for sure come back"
