Expensive but worth it. This place takes customer service to a new level. it can be as relaxing or as adventurous as you are looking for. Definitely take advantage of the complimentary breakfast which can even be room service if you prefer. If you want extra of something or alterations in the menu ... just ask. Like for the fruit plate we asked for only pineapple and their pineapple is amazing. We aren't coffee drinkers, but the hot chocolate is delish. The French toast tasted like bread pudding and the oatmeal was delish without any sweetener. All the meals were great plus we took advantage of the free snacks in the room. The wine and liquor are at a cost and actually expensive. If you are a drinker you might want to bring you own. loved the rooms and soaking in the tub. The outdoor shower is a fun experience and totally private. def check out the frog ponds at night. they will take you with their flashlights and try to keep you safe from the snakes. We took our own flashlights and just was very careful. if you are a wildlife fan ..the pools and hot springs and bridges are good spots to see wildlife. If the employees know you want to see wildlife they help you find it. The staff do all they can to make this a vacation of a lifetime. The memories of seeing howler monkeys play in the trees as we soaked in the pool with a cocktail. At the hotsprings we watched baby sloth and mom in the tip top of the trees. The memories we made here are invaluable. Personally dry season is a must. Even the time between wet and dry season is ... rained the whole time. So this year we tried dry season .. it still rained some but dry season is a must for us. It's more expensive but to pay all that for it to rain all the time wasn't ideal.

From check in to check out, Nayara tented camp far exceeded our expectations! We traveled with kids (18,14,13) and all of us commented the entire stay about what an amazing hotel it was and how nice and helpful the staff were! Raquel at check in was fantastic, sweet, and thorough and let us know all of the amenities available. Jessilyn, Fabian, Ariel were so attentive, helped with arranging (and rearranging) our tour times, transportation, etc. always with a smile and a no problem! Alexa was an amazing server and remembered us each day! Spa service was exceptional… the massage, the setting, everything! I’d highly recommend a visit to the spa if you’re there! We stayed in a family tent which was perfect! 2 separate “tents” and a private pool. Both were Very spacious. Master tent had a huge bathroom and outdoor shower! Hot springs pools were beautiful and overall the grounds were immaculate! Lots of places to explore. Night frog walk was fun and educational!! The food was superior as well! Breakfasts and dinner at Ayla were delicious! Again, service was fantastic. Overall, I would 10/10 recommend anyone going to la Fortuna to stay here!!!!

We had a wonderful stay at Nayara Tented Camp for four nights. The tents are fantastic - extremely well-thought-out design, comfortable, well-stocked, and immaculate. The attention to detail in all areas at Nayara is just fabulous! Every single team member we encountered was so friendly and helpful. We learned so much from our conversations with the warm and informative staff. Carolina, the manager, was so responsive, professional, and kind. While there are plenty of wonderful excursions in the area, you can easily keep yourself busy on the property. We really enjoyed the morning nature walk, various pools, food and drink. We did not have a chance to make it to the yoga, the spa or Asia Luna, but we definitely plan to return and enjoy those on our next trip. It is worth a trip to Costa Rica just to experience the luxury, hospitality and gorgeous flora and fauna found at Nayara Tented Camp!

Fabulous accommodation, with good views when the clouds lift. Very good food and service. The animal life around the resort was lovely, we saw Sloths, Toucans and lot of others. The only slight dissappointment were the trips out we took. The guides were great but not sure we did the right ones, the waterfall excursion and the early morning bird watching were not special. Its pricey, but nothing quite like it.

We stayed at Nayara tented Camp and it was fabulous. The attention to the details was incredible. From knowing your name to asking about your day. Scheduling excursions, dinner reservations and spa treatments. We went for our 25th wedding anniversary and we couldn’t have been happier !

Better every year. I don't know how they do it, but every year we visit, they get better and better. This was our 4th visit, and it exceeded expectations. Tana, our concierge, helped us every step of the way. Just outstanding professionalism. Fro. Every bellboy who not only drove us around to find amazing animals, but would seek us out when they found one we were wanting to find. The cleaning service was beyond top notch. Franciny, our maid, went above and beyond to take care of our every need and want every day. All of the restaurants were so delicious. Highly recommend the wine pairing experience at the wine bar, the sommelier was amazing. And you haven't lived until you have eaten at Amor Loco. The manager, William, makes sure that your experience is like a Michellin star experience. We can't wait to go back.

What a wonderful tour we enjoyed to the Rio Celeste and Tenorio National Park! The waterfalls are remarkable and the park hike is gorgeous. Our guide Levi was informative, enthusiastic and fun. Ask for Levi and be sure to leave him with a nice tip - maybe he’ll win a keychain from his employer!
