This was not my first time there and certainly will not be my last. Thank you for always making it memorable to stay there.

Good pillows Really, that's almost all that matters in a hotel stay: "Can I sleep comfortably?" The answer with H2S is yes. The bonus for traveling families is the fridge and freezer for keeping snacks/etc. and getting those ice packs "recharged".

No where else id rather stay! I stay here every St Pattys day and I love them! No theft no problems no BS. If you are coming to La Crosse and want to have fun downtown they are the GOAT!

Really Nice area Downtown

The hotel is nice, in a good location close to restaurants, the river, etc. There is plenty of parking nearby, both a surface lot for hotel guests only, and 2 city-owned ramps across the street, which are free on weekends. The continental breakfast was sub-par and quite picked over by 8:30 on a Saturday morning -- unsure how much they replenish as the morning goes on, but we opted for breakfast at a restaurant instead. The beds were quite comfortable!! One thing to mention that I was unaware of, and its NOT the hotel's fault, but worth noting because it was gross.... depending on the direction of the wind, this part of downtown is subject to a horrible sewer-gas type smell. We had to ask around, because it was so strong, we worried there was a gas leak. We were told it was coming from the brewery down the street. Ick! Luckily our room didn't smell, but the hotel's hallways did, and outside was horrendous.
