"I have stayed at this place many times over the years and it has been in the past a pleasant experience. I booked again for three days last week and unusually received a text as I was checking in for my flight at London Gatwick asking for payment via a link and telling me that I would receive key codes. I didn't understand the message and travelled to A Coruna as normal. Upon arrival at the hotel, the door handle for the reception had been removed and instead there was an entry button system on the door. I couldn't enter the property, but thankfully a young spanish woman who was also a guest and spoke perfect English opened the entrance door for me. I discovered that the reception was closed and no-one was in attendance at the hotel. The young lady kindly called the owners who informed her that as I hadn't responded to their message that my booking had been cancelled by them and I no longer had a room. After sleeping on a bench overnight I managed to find another hotel the next day who were able to provide me with accommodation for the rest of my stay at a somewhat inflated price, however I was grateful to be off the streets. This is the most shocking abuse of travellers I have ever come across and would advise anybody not to go within an inch of this establishment!!!!!!!!"

It has a lively atmosphere, which is the downside: the hotel is on a street with many bars, so it's not recommended if you're looking for a quiet night's sleep. The room was very clean and spacious. The bathroom was also clean and had all the basic amenities (including a hairdryer)."

"A key tip if you're arriving by car is to absolutely ensure you request a parking space when booking, as securing a spot otherwise might mean searching for street parking or alternative lots nearby. Location-wise, the hotel is excellently situated, providing easy access to the heart of the city center. We found the hotel to be consistently clean throughout, and the staff were notably helpful and accommodating during our stay. A simple but satisfying breakfast was available, highlighted by the option to request excellent Spanish-style coffees made fresh, which was a lovely touch. Our room itself was both spacious and clean, offering ample room to relax, and we appreciated that the windows could be opened to allow for fresh air, adding to the comfort."

"Already on the internet we advertise room at 40€ and on site it goes to 53 rear view and 80 sea view… upon entering the hotel then in the room I found that the parquet floor was beautiful and the decor from another time… in the facts: bathroom door does not close bathtub leaks sink and bathtub have burst enamel… room side correct size clean and comfortable bedding, solid wood furniture in its original state but in very good condition but no 2nd pillow a torn armchair in a corner cigarette burns and the smell of tobacco. As for the service, a slate offers breakfast but the gentleman at reception tells us that we will have to go to the restaurant a little further away, a broken shower and shampoo dispenser... in short, to try if you like to travel to the past... alone good point: breathtaking view of the Hercules tower and the seaside, very nice."
