Got the package that includes dinner. My family really enjoyed the dinner experience as well as our stay in general.

This was a lovely ryokan situated very close to the Gion district and within walking distance of the famous Kiyomizu-dera temple and the little streets leading up to it. Lovely room, comfortable futons and amazing Japanese breakfasts! Loved it!

Transportation is convenient and 2.5km away from Kyoto station to go Kansas airport. Many shops, temples, shrines, and restaurants nearby In walking distance also. Great staffs and service to enjoy Kyoto atmosphere

My son and I stayed 2 nights. Cordial staff. Good explanations for English speakers with Japanese cultural differences explained for us American travelers. Very happy with service and cleanliness. Breakfast was multiple dishes in Japanese style. Very enjoyable.

The room is big, the location is excellent, and it is convenient to go to nearby attractions. The dinner is shabu-shabu, the service is also very good, and there are many varieties of breakfast, but I am not used to eating fish.

The breakfast is great, the location is great, and it's convenient for traveling. The room is not new but clean. The only downside is that I didn't sleep well for the two nights I stayed here. The air conditioner was too noisy... I turned it down and it was too hot, which was very frustrating...

The price/performance ratio is too low, 1) The service is very poor, no one comes to clean from check-in to check-out, shoes are not allowed in the hotel, strollers are not allowed to be pushed in, and the clerk requires that they must be folded and taken in. On the first day of check-in, my wife was the only one with two babies, three suitcases, and a stroller. The clerk was unhelpful. 2) The equipment is old and the air conditioner should be from more than ten or twenty years ago. It is very loud when turned on, like a heavy rain, which affects sleep. 3) Breakfast is the only highlight, but you have to get up very early to eat it. The latest time is 8:30. It is difficult to catch up with children. 4) Check out at 10:00. If you return late, you will be charged. Don't live there

The service was great, and they helped deliver the luggage to the room. The room was very unique and the hot spring bath was very enjoyable.

The staff are all very friendly. The room is spacious and quiet, which is nice. It was nice that the toilet and bathroom were separate, and the sink was also separate. The kaiseki dinner was really delicious and the quality of meat was good, and the breakfast was prepared in a neat Japanese style, so I really enjoyed it. It wasn't too far from Gion Shijo Street, so you could walk there. If I get the chance, I want to go again.
