The lighting in the room is weird. The whole house is turned off and there is still light in the fire escape, which affects sleep. The bed sheets scratch the skin. Other than this, everything else is very good. Friendly reception. The design of the homestay is special and thoughtful.

Very satisfied with the stay experience! Location: Very close to Kamogawa River and Kyoto Imperial Palace. You can enjoy the scenic spots on foot. However, there are less delicious food in the surrounding area because it is not in a bustling area, but it is only a few kilometers away from the downtown area. Environment: Very stylish, renovated old wooden house. I live in the largest room No. 1. If possible, I will definitely choose this room. It is larger than the others. There is a shoe-changing porch on the first floor. The living area is on the second floor. The balcony can be directly accessed. See the Japanese garden. I have to praise the courtyard, it is very beautiful and it is very comfortable to sit in the courtyard and have a drink. The room is very big. I love the wooden bathtub with a view and the Japanese-style living room. I feel like it's a waste to stay here. Service: The service attitude is great, but remember not to bring children under 12 years old‼ ️This is not obvious on the hotel reservation page. My friend brought his seven-year-old child. Fortunately, there was a Chinese-speaking front desk person who helped contact the manager to accommodate. We can check in, but the children cannot go to the restaurant area downstairs. Speaking of restaurants, my favorite is from the afternoon to 10pm, so! have! liquor! water! waived! fee! Are you really not afraid of an alcoholic like me? The only drawbacks are: the sound insulation is a bit poor, and the sounds from the street in the morning can be heard very clearly. Furthermore, the door frames are generally very low, and anyone over 1.7 meters tall may bump their heads. I bumped them twice a day on average. But don’t blame the hotel, that’s what Japanese architecture is. Will come again!

The hotel is similar to a B&B. The outside maintains the characteristics of old Japanese residential wooden buildings, but the inside has a very novel industrial style decoration. The hotel has complete basic facilities. The nearby suburban streets are relatively quiet, but the sound insulation is poor. Occasionally, there will still be noise when passing vehicles. There are all you can eat for breakfast, and I'm overall satisfied.

Room No. 7 was a big surprise the night before. The front desk was very nice and asked me if I had any requests. However, I changed to another room on the second night. Four of my friends stayed in Room 10. Overall, it was better than Room 7. Much better, but also has a lot of bugs 1. The sound insulation is very poor. You basically don’t expect to do anything in your respective rooms. You can even hear a cough. 2. There is a bathroom upstairs and downstairs, but there is only one bathroom, so four people have to queue up to take a shower. This is actually bearable, but the bathroom upstairs is very embarrassing because it is too close to the room and the sound insulation is not good. When you go to the toilet, you can hear it clearly in the room. 3. I didn’t sleep well on the second night. The tatami room was close to the road. Although it was a very quiet street, there were still some vehicles and pedestrians passing by, so I couldn’t fall asleep very early. The service attitude at the front desk is very good, but it is only 22 o'clock in the evening, and there is no one behind. If you want to buy some water or other things at night, there is nothing you can do. Breakfast is very simple. In short, it does not have the services and facilities of a hotel, nor the experience and price of a B&B. I really don’t want to recommend it.

The bar next to the information desk has a simple breakfast, afternoon tea, and cocktail hour, just like the club lounge. (You can enjoy it comfortably.) This is a place where you can feel the meticulous care given to each and every detail. It was a happy family trip. Thank you!^^ For reference, the bus stop was close so it was easier to use than the subway.

The most satisfying hotel during this trip to Japan. The decoration and facilities are in line with the description online. The actual stay is also very comfortable and quiet. The staff's service is warm and welcoming. We were also pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere in the lounge, breakfast, and the TV for watching Netflix smoothly. At the same price, you can only stay in an average hotel in Kyoto Station/Kawaramachi Shijo, which has more convenient transportation. The only shortcomings: the address is not very clear, many elderly taxi drivers can't find it (you can solve it by taking an Uber), the toilet paper is a bit too thin (I understand it is for environmental protection but it affects the use), there are no curtains so I wake up early (It can also be considered a unique living experience)

The hotel is very good and the seats are good. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to Nijo Castle and about 10 minutes to the subway station. Residential areas are also quiet.

He can communicate in Japanese, Chinese, and English, and his attitude is great. He can exchange coins for laundry, help with express delivery, call for restaurant reservations, etc.!
