Conveniently located, 2 minutes walk to the bus station, 3 minutes to the supermarket, 8 minutes to the subway station, dense restaurants nearby, not far from downtown Shijo. The size of the room is absolutely surprising, with a desk, a coffee table and a sofa, and separate areas for the bathroom, washing area, shower, bathtub and cloakroom. Very clean, various facilities are very user-friendly, and you can get the most comfortable point. Tried Japanese and Western breakfasts, three Japanese breakfasts have different variations, delicious! The staff is very friendly, delivering meals according to the appointment time, cleaning the room after I went out in the morning, and the simple and polite interaction makes me feel happy. A small suggestion: if you can provide slightly thinner quilts for guests to choose, it will be more perfect. It is the best hotel in my four trips to Japan so far👍

The room felt spacious, new, and fresh. While the location offered peaceful seclusion, it remained conveniently close to the bamboo forest. The hotel staff recommended purchasing drinking water, a short five-minute walk to Lawson. Evenings were very quiet. Contrary to an earlier online review, I found no evidence of mold or conditions conducive to its growth. The room was mostly clean, though it didn't quite meet Japan's typically high standards of meticulousness. Need improvement on this part.

The room was quite spacious and reasonably priced. The amenities were excellent, the environment was pleasant, and it was very quiet. I'd like to extend a special thank you to a Japanese gentleman at the front desk. Due to a flight delay, we didn't arrive until 11 PM, and we used a translation app to ask if there were any restaurants still open nearby. We were the only guests checking in at that late hour. The gentleman spoke briefly with his colleague and, to our astonishment, offered to personally escort us. Initially, I was a bit apprehensive – such genuine helpfulness late at night? (Please excuse my caution; it was my first time in Japan, and I was naturally a bit wary.) We walked to several places nearby, but they were all closed. The gentleman even asked one of the staff members if they could prepare one last meal for us. Eventually, we spotted a convenience store, and not wanting to trouble him further, we decided to pick up some food there to tide us over. The gentleman, concerned we might not be familiar with the process, stayed with us and guided us through it (mostly communicating with gestures! 😂). We are incredibly grateful for this diligent and genuinely kind staff member; his sincerity truly knows no borders. I've attached a photo of the gentleman from behind, hoping it's not intrusive.
