The hotel boasts an excellent location. As soon as you exit Kyoto Station's Central Exit, you can spot Kyoto Tower. Cross the street towards the tower, and the hotel is right next to it. Kyoto Station itself is vast, offering a plethora of dining options, and serves as a major transportation hub with easy access to buses and subways for all attractions. The room was standard and rather compact. I was quite lucky to stay on the 4th floor, which conveniently had the vending machines and ice maker – a thoughtful touch! Luggage storage is available at the front desk. On my last day, I left my bags at the hotel and took a stroll around the nearby Kyoto Tower.
