Hilton Hotels & Resorts Hotels in Kyoto

Overall, our family of three, traveling with our child, had a very pleasant and positive experience. It was comforting to hear many familiar Chinese dialects spoken by the numerous Chinese guests in the lobby. The room was very spacious with excellent facilities, which is quite a rare find in Japan. Its location was also superb, being very close to the shopping street. We could easily take an evening stroll there even after dinner around 9 PM. We only had two minor downsides: 1. The hotel is located above a main thoroughfare, so traffic noise was quite noticeable at night. 2. The breakfast selection was rather limited. As executive room guests, we had breakfast in the lounge and were not allowed to go to the first-floor dining area. We weren't sure if this was a misunderstanding, so we couldn't tell if the first-floor offerings were more varied. These were the only issues we encountered.

really good location (can just take bus to Kiyomizu-dera and Kawaramachi-dori shopping area, have 2 train lines nearby - hankyu kyoto line and karasuma subway line, family mart is just across the street) breakfast was okay but quite little choices given the price was slightly higher than my osaka hotel 🙂… but the room was super clean and spacious for two people! highly recommended 👍🏻
