Atour Hotel Kunming South High-speed Railway Station University Town Reviews

Very pleased with the hotel room arranged for me on 40th floor with a panoramic mountain view. A great experience to see both sunset and sunrise in Kunming. Location wise, the hotel venue is more convenient for travellers going to or coming from XiShuangBanNa, and intend to do a stopover (for a night) before proceeding to other scenic locations such as DaLi or LiJiang. During checkout, the friendly hotel staff also gave me a gift package. So sweet!

The lobby is very nice and they also give some tea upon arrival! Nice for relaxing from the long trip. One employee spoke some English and she did her best to communicate with us, which was very kind. The room was very clean and comfortable. The single beds are big. We arrived late and hadn’t eaten anything so the complimentary late night snack (congee and dumplings) was convenient and tasty too! Breakfast was excellent as well. Unfortunately they don’t have a cold water dispenser, and only provide water bottles. They also offer free drop-off to the station.

Very convenient location. Rooms are good size and very clean. Breakfast is reasonably good too. We had a room with a gd view too.

Nice decent hotel near the train station. Very good service. But slightly far from city center. Went to train station 4 times during our two day stay so we booked this hotel for convenience.

Rooms are spacious and clean. Location is average, but a short cab ride from Xintiandi.

The hotel is clean and the guest service is quiet okay! But the hotel is a bit far from the city and it took us almost 40 minutes by using Didi.

The staff was absolutely outstanding at our stay. Helpful and friendly. They arranged a free car to the train station so we did not need to order a DiDi or take a taxi. The breakfast had plenty to choose from whether you prefer a good Chinese breakfast or a bit more western. That said there are no western style meat, cheese or fish. They have good coffee and real juice and milk. The beds are truly comfortable with wonderful natural cotton bedsheets. Clean, modern and comfortable. Reasonably priced.

It’sa little quiet in this area. It’sa bit of a walk to underground train.  Service is very good.

The staff at the check in was amazing, the girls helped us so much and we are really grateful, shout out to 竹熙。小奈 for the great help The hotel is nice and very clean, the insulation of the room is quite nice even though you can still hear people in the corridor The only thing that I didn't like is that when you have to empty your bowel the only way to clean yourself is to shower, which I think it's insane. No bum gun, no smart toilet, super annoying

I meant to book Atour nearer to the Kunming railway station but I booked the wrong one nearer to their south railway station instead. Nonetheless, Love the bed - and overall I very good hotel for a short stay over.breakfast was basic but very good. Quality tea and the staples are great.

Conveniently located 5 min drive from kunming south Station. there are family mart and food nearby as well.

Very clean, and reasonably sized. We checked in at 3 am and they were manning the counter at that time. Note that the hotel is not the whole building, but only the top few floors.
