Worth to stay here as we can see Mount Kinabalu from the resort, however the road were a bit scary. Would suggest to request upper room as I stayed in lower room, i can hear the person above me walking and running 🥲

Fantastic view of Mount Kinabalu... Its on the right if ur facing towards the hotel ya...not towards the front of the car park.. Steep decent and ascend from main road to hotel and fro.. Vehicles need power and a good clutch ya..Emmm we got a squeaky bed and quite smelly bathroom..a bit tricky to set the hot shower but manageable lah...

Awesome location, great views of Mount Kinabalu and across the valley. Not far from tasty food in Kundasang.

Dirty toilet and old facility. We requested for free upgraded but hotel not allowed. We top up money to bungalow, for better view. Old building and dirty too.

Overall the room is clean, complete with basic kitchen amenities. The room has a spacious balcony which we enjoyed the sunrise view. We can see the Mount KK from main entrance and the back of the resort. Their staff are friendly and helpful. However, the only challenge is to control the water heater temperature 😆.

Nice place to stay but the road is very challenged. Management please put iron and hair dryer at the room. But overall okay.

Quiet and peaceful place. Overall is satisfactory however no drinking water provided. For me the best part of the room is the spacious balcony where you can sip tea, enjoy the fresh air and greenery view.

Every room has balcony 😊 Don’t: No electricity upon arrival Bed linen were filled with dust, small small dead bugs. Quite old, can hear from downstairs footsteps, shower, television voice, people talking. Common: The road to Nikgold quite challenging ( as common as other areas in Kundasang, so it wasnt a big deal) No phone line, they do provide WiFi which is excellent Overall it was a pleasant stay. View was nice. Comfy bed. A few issues: The toilet was a bit dirty & stained. The room’s entrance sliding door lock was damaged, thus can’t lock.

The destination this time is mainly to visit Mount Kinabalu. After screening several hotels near Mount Kinabalu on Ctrip, I chose this one, mainly referring to the geographical location, hotel prices and reviews. I drove from Kota Kinabalu Airport to the hotel alone, and the journey took 2 hours. The hotel is in a valley, and there will be a rugged road with many lush tropical plants on both sides. After arriving at the hotel, there is a feeling of sudden enlightenment, and the perspective is also very good. You can see the layers of mountains and very low clouds, especially at sunrise. It is very healing. The attitude of the staff is very friendly. Because it is located in the mountains, there are small insects in the room. I asked the waiter to help me clean it out, and they are very patient. The scenery of the hotel is nothing to say. You can see the mountains and the cabins below. Even if you do nothing and blow the wind, it is worth it. It is a 5-minute drive from Mount Kinabalu. There are also scenic cow parks and Mount Kinabalu ranches around it, which are very beautiful. The cats and dogs in the hotel yard are mostly lazy and sleeping in the sun. Although the hotel room facilities are relatively basic and there is no breakfast, I still think the overall experience is good, focusing on a quiet and comfortable atmosphere. I look forward to staying here again in the future and recommend it to everyone.

I will definitely come again next time I have the chance! The hotel is in an excellent location and has a very high cost-effectiveness! The locals who chartered our car all said it was good! You can overlook Mount Kinabalu, which is especially beautiful in the morning and evening. The cabins complement the natural scenery! The beds are clean and the rooms all have large balconies. The store has cats and dogs, they are gentle and friendly, and the dogs will escort you when you go out to climb the mountain. The boss is of Chinese descent, fluent in Chinese, and kind-hearted. Seeing that we have a family and it is inconvenient to have no car, he helped us buy bread and shared dinner. He insisted on not charging money and just said that we were visitors from afar. Check-in precautions are as follows: Animals: Most of the local cats and dogs in Mount Kinabalu are free-range and are more free to go out. It is difficult to tell whether they are stray or not. Although most of them are friendly, it is best to keep quiet, polite and keep a safe distance when encountering cats and dogs. Food and Beverage: The hotel sells instant noodles and snacks. There is a dining table on the large terrace and you can borrow bowls and chopsticks, but there is no catering service. Transportation: It is more convenient to have a car to travel to Mount Kinabalu, but driving in the mountains requires driving skills, car condition and power. We chartered a car for two days, including pick-up and tours. We did not charter a car for one day and rested in the hotel. Facilities: Don't expect too much from the hotel's hardware and software. For example, the curtains in our room seemed to have been damaged by the previous guests and have not been replaced or decontaminated. The main purpose of coming to the mountains is to experience the natural scenery.
