The room is large for Japan, the view from the roof terrace to the castle is a complete delight
The traditional breakfast did not disappoint. It takes about 20 minutes to get to the JR station by transport, the main thing is not to mix up the trams.

It was very helpful that they left my suitcase even after I checked out. Kumamoto Castle has many slopes, so I couldn't go there if I had a suitcase.

Great choice! Walkable to a lot of good locations - Kumamoto Castle, Josaien, shopping street, tram stops, shopping mall.
They were kind enough to let us check in early because the room was ready. Early check out was also not a problem as we were allowed to leave our luggage as we enjoy our last day in Kumamoto.
The staff were also approachable. I had a minor issue and they instantly tried to remedy it.
We had a great stay in Kumamoto. Thank you!

The hygiene of the hotel room is not ideal, but the service attitude is okay. I would not recommend staying in this hotel. You can directly see Kumamoto Castle from the hotel room and the 10th floor terrace.
