"This is my second time here. I got room B03 this time, and the blanket was much thinner compared to room B02. The air conditioning took a long time to cool down. The TV was great though. At 12 PM, staff will knock on your door multiple times if you haven't checked out yet. Parking is free in front of the building. The pool water was fine, and there's a rinsing area. They have a Cuckoo water dispenser. It's walking distance to the beach. The price is cheap."

The Serai Cottage Downtown Hotel
"Nothing much to enjoy here. An outdated hotel and requires extensive upgrading. We paid for a double king size bed only we end up with 1 queen size & 2 single size bed. Thats ok with us, but the bed condition are bad. The mattress are in bed shape, an old one causes u to sink when u lie on it 😅. The bed sheet n blanket arent so clean even stain n yellowish on it. One pillow have no pillowcase. Cleanliness is unsatisfactory. There was leftover water in the jug, possibly from a previous guest. The swimming pool are in real deal bad cond. It may not have been properly maintained for a long time. There is a broken tiles inside the pools and hurted my son feet quite bad. Hope TRIP.com can monitor this hotel and we hope the management can do somthg to upgrade this hotels. We are not asking for excessive services, but we expevt smthg that is worth the value. Thank you!"

"Some old furnitures and not so well-maintained curtains but hey you can't really complain for the price! Mula-mula ingatkan bising sebab it's literally 2-3 mins walk away to the airport, tapi ok je the frequency of the flights tak kerap pun plus kids enjoy the flight scenery. Will I come again next time? YES."

"This hotel is aged, but you can see that they do maintain the exterior. The interior however, you can see that it’s past its prime. One thing I love about this hotel is it has quite a number of resident animals like ducks, chickens, goats and rabbits which you can pet. They roam around freely most of the time, my children loved to play with them."

"Worst vacation experience ever. I don’t mind staying at a resort like this, but the poor service made me seriously consider checking out early. 1. The TV was not working. We informed the receptionist, but were told to wait until the next day just to repeat the complaint. 2. No bottled/mineral water was provided. Guests are required to get water from the restaurant, but the water filter is limited..essentially first come, first served. 3. The food pricing seemed inconsistent. We ordered tomyam ayam, but were charged for tomyam mix instead. 4. Guests are not allowed to enter the restaurant in wet clothes, yet we were required to return the motorcycle key at the receptionist counter located inside the restaurant. 5. After returning from the beach (about 700m away), an uncle, i don't know if he is one of the owner or staff member, shouted at us and warned us not to walk past the restaurant. His behaviour was very rude and unprofessional (i want to share his picture, but change my mind) Overall, this was a very disappointing experience."
