MAIFA VILLAGE CHALET ★★★★
"Same as other couples review"
Bidong View Resort ★★★★
"good for family with kids. many attraction here. mini waterpark i like the most. but sorry not wheelchair friendly very far from carpark. but its kids friendly resort."
Dara Inn ★★
"Decent budget stay for the price. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The only downside is that cars can park right in front of the rooms, making it a bit tricky to move luggage. Well… Pantai Timur vibesss lol"
Am Transit Inn Kuala Terengganu ★★
"The hotel is situated directly opposite Terengganu Airport, just separated by a wire fence. The reception staff were very polite; they even promptly reminded me about my forgotten passport. Breakfast starts at 7:30 AM, but for guests departing early, they kindly prepared breakfast packs and even walked them to the airport entrance, despite the drive only taking about three minutes. However, the hygiene conditions were quite concerning. The bathroom lacked proper wet/dry separation, the electric water heater provided very weak water pressure, and to top it off, I stepped on a huge cockroach while using the toilet at night. The mattress was generally acceptable, but anyone with high hygiene standards would likely find the pillows quite unappealing. Overall, this place might suit travelers catching a very early flight, especially those with lots of luggage who prioritize convenience over pristine hygiene."
OYO 91250 Roomstay Awie ★★
"Recommended to stay"
Kuala Terengganu Golf Resort by Ancasa Hotels & Resorts ★★★
"The room was very clean and the service was very friendly. The most impressive thing was that the waiter asked me for a tip, but the language communication was not smooth. It was the first time he was called a "foreigner""
Hotel O HNR INN ★★
"Trip.com and owner very helpfull to resolve during my arrival."
Redang Island Resort ★★★
"The resort at another site of the island, resort itself is good. But one thing is no water supply in certain time, this is the issue you really need to take notes. Very inconvenient even though they will send the water in normal barrel size to the room.but it is really not convenient, especially if the family got children. Please take noted. Service and staff there are good. This is a plus."

The Serai Cottage Downtown Hotel
"Nothing much to enjoy here. An outdated hotel and requires extensive upgrading. We paid for a double king size bed only we end up with 1 queen size & 2 single size bed. Thats ok with us, but the bed condition are bad. The mattress are in bed shape, an old one causes u to sink when u lie on it 😅. The bed sheet n blanket arent so clean even stain n yellowish on it. One pillow have no pillowcase. Cleanliness is unsatisfactory. There was leftover water in the jug, possibly from a previous guest. The swimming pool are in real deal bad cond. It may not have been properly maintained for a long time. There is a broken tiles inside the pools and hurted my son feet quite bad. Hope TRIP.com can monitor this hotel and we hope the management can do somthg to upgrade this hotels. We are not asking for excessive services, but we expevt smthg that is worth the value. Thank you!"
Redang Bay Resort
"I have to say, the hotel's beachfront is one of the best in that area. Most of the staff speak Chinese, so there are quite a few Chinese guests, and they even have live Chinese singing at night. The room size is decent, but there's no hairdryer, and the AC occasionally cuts out. If you hang clothes outside, they dry quickly after noon. My biggest disappointment was when we paid extra for a friend to join us, but then they couldn't make it. We contacted the hotel four or five days in advance to see if we could get a partial refund, but they said no refund was possible at all."
Redang Holiday Beach Resort
"The townhouse rooms were clean but soundproof. The environment was pleasant, close to the beach, and there was a swimming pool within the accommodation complex. The food wasn't overly curry, which was generally acceptable for Chinese food lovers. The ferry service was good, with round-trip transfers. The afternoon snacks and mung bean soup on the first day were delicious. For snorkeling, you had to wade through shallow water to board the boat. Black smoke billowed from behind the boat, which could easily make people with motion sickness sick. It's best to take motion sickness medication within half an hour before boarding."
Peridot By The Sea Redang
"## Amenities The hotel's basic amenities are largely complete and fully operational. The rooms have been renovated throughout, and the decor is better than what you'd find in other hotels. Wi-Fi is available in the rooms. There's some ongoing construction behind the hotel, but it generates almost no noise, so it doesn't impact your stay or rest at all. ## Cleanliness Overall, there's significant room for improvement in cleanliness. You can spot quite a few small flying insects in the lobby and hallways leading to the guest rooms. There were also small ants around the welcome drinks at the front desk. While these don't affect a normal stay, the public area cleaning and pest control aren't thorough enough, and more attention is needed for cleanliness details. ## Environment The hotel's surrounding environment is decent, and the location offers convenient access to transportation. The partial construction behind the hotel has minimal impact on the quietness of the stay, and the overall living atmosphere is average. ## Service Overall service needs improvement. Check-in is at 3 PM and check-out is strictly at 10 AM, which isn't very accommodating. There are too few staff members on duty, and housekeeping efficiency is low, with room cleaning being particularly slow. The overall service efficiency and attentiveness aren't on par with other hotels in the same category. ## Dining The dining experience is weak, and it clearly falls short compared to other hotels of a similar caliber in the area. Only breakfast is included, and the variety is very limited, with average taste. Lunch and dinner need to be ordered separately, and the overall dining selection, taste, and serving efficiency all need significant improvement. ## Activities The hotel's overall operational atmosphere is far inferior to competitors like Laguna or Rainbow Hotel. Other hotels arrange recreational activities and special programs in the evenings, offering guests plenty of nighttime entertainment. This hotel, however, has no activities or arrangements whatsoever in the evening, making the overall atmosphere dull and quiet. The operational fun and guest experience are significantly lacking."
Redang De' Rimba
"A very terrible hotel. There is garbage everywhere, various insects and lizards crawling in the rooms. We wanted to cancel the reservation because of the disgusting conditions, but they refused us. If you walk to the beach, you will meet monkeys and monitor lizards on the way, I was not happy about this. The air conditioner blows directly on the bed, so catching a cold will be a bonus to the terrible conditions. The TV did not work, the light in the toilet turned on every other time, the flush on the toilet was broken. The stairs to the house are very steep, not even very steep, but extreme. You have to try not to kill yourself going up and down with a suitcase. The hotel is focused only on making money, without providing anything in return. Very sad."
Laguna Redang Island Resort
"The hotel is a bit old, and as a resort, it attracts a lot of Chinese guests. They also offer lunch service."
The Taaras Beach & Spa Resort
"Excellent hotel on a stunning island, with white sand and turquoise water. This seems to be the best beach on Redang. You can snorkel with turtles right from the shore. The room was spacious, the service was great, and there's a gym with panoramic ocean views. The breakfast had a good variety."
