Ramada Suites by Wyndham Kuala Lumpur City Centre Reviews

I chose this hotel because it is an actual hotel as opposed to renting a privately owned apartment in a residential complex and because I am familiar with the brand having visited the Ramada in Guangzhou. Firstly, check-in was seamless and easy. A deposit of 100 ringer is required. Reception was friendly and efficient. Be sure to keep your deposit invoice as you’ll need it upon checkout but it’s refunded quickly in cash. The room itself is massive and very well set up. The bed is okay, not that soft but not as hard as others. The kitchen is good and though they supply crockery and utensils there are not pots or pans to cook if you wanted to. I didn’t mind since I didn’t want to cook anyway. The microwave is great and having a big fridge too is very convenient. The bathroom is a little small compared to the rest of the room, however, impressively the water temperature and pressure is constant and very good! The only drawback is that there are no plug points in the bathroom so ladies wishing to use the hairdryer have to do it in the kitchen. Room service is actually done via an app and is not directly through the hotel but affiliated with The Ceylon House next to the hotel. The food is of an excellent quality and fairly priced. The only thing I didn’t know is that I had to contact the restaurant directly to collect their crockery as housekeeping will not so it was left in the room. Luckily I visited the restaurant on my last day and mentioned it to them and they quickly sent a server up to the room to collect it. The location itself is great as it’s near the subway, malls and plenty of convenience stores and eateries around. Pharmacies, etc. are also conveniently found. The Chinese night food market is close by. My only complaint is the noise factor at night. Since the hotel is near to the bar area street and I could look onto it from my room it was very loud at night. It only quietens down around 3am. However, it did not cause me so much difficulty. Housekeeping is done daily and the staff respect the Do Not Disturb sign which is great! The pool is lovely and open till 11pm which is wonderful considering other places close too early. However, the depth is way too shallow throughout (maybe only 1.4m) I’m very short and even for me it was more like wading than swimming. Although I did not use it there is a very well set up laundry facility (bring your own detergent) and gym. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the Ramada. I would visit again. I arrived after 5pm but my room wasn’t ready, which was disappointing. However, they quickly arranged an alternative room for me after a short wait, which I appreciate. Other than this, I have no complaints

Short trip to kl 1. Was given a room on arrival passed midnight, found the in room Aircon making nose, requested to change room. Was attended by Mr baldi who promptly sent another room card thru the robot, and allowed me to view the room before accepting the room change. 👍 2. On entering the room, generally clean but found a piece of tissue at the door way. 3. Like other commenter mention, towels hygiene seem questionable. Time to overhaul the linen. 4. Swim pool needs regular maintenance. seem dirty. No towel available, must get from security guard station at the pool which I saw him kept at his drawer. No shower cream in the washroom too. 5. Walking distance to bukit bintang monorail, lot 10, n pavilion . But it's hilly walking up, may not be ideal with elderly folks. Many eating places around the hotel, but mostly Indian food.

The room was actually comfortable and the location was amazing. We managed to walk to everywhere we went to visit. The pool was also a good advantage and it’s free of charge, but the wifi was a disaster.

The room is nice, spacious,close access to jalan Alor and bukit bintang. The area very strategic, many restaurants and mini markets.

Overall okay. Room was quite small considering for 4 people but the bed size was sufficient and comfy.

Location is only 10 mins walk from Bukit Bintang, room is spacious and comfortable. Breakfast can be improved.

Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with modern furnishings and all the amenities one could need for a comfortable stay. We had an amazing view of the city skyline, which was particularly breathtaking at night. The room was immaculately clean, and the housekeeping staff did an excellent job each day. One of the highlights of our stay was the hotel's rooftop pool. It was the perfect spot to relax after a day of sightseeing, with plenty of lounge chairs and a stunning view of the Petronas Towers in the distance. We also enjoyed a few meals at the hotel's restaurant, which served a delicious mix of local and international cuisine. The breakfast buffet was particularly impressive, offering a wide variety of options to suit all tastes. The hotel’s location is another big plus. It’s situated in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, making it easy to access popular attractions like the Bukit Bintang shopping district and the KLCC Park. We found it very convenient to get around, whether we were walking or taking a short taxi ride to our destinations. One minor downside was the occasional noise from the nearby nightlife, but it didn’t significantly impact our stay. Overall, I highly recommend the Ramada Suites Hotel in Kuala Lumpur for anyone looking for a blend of comfort, convenience, and excellent service. We look forward to returning in the future!

The location is perfect. The room is clean and spacious. Very near to the street foods and to a lot of points of interest in KL. If you are coming to KL for food tour, this place is recommended. We will definitely book here again.

The hotel location is fantastic, it’s located in the city center, in the middle of the Arabic restaurants, shopping malls, supermarkets and also metro station.

Paid $230 for 2 nights 2 king beds with small kitchen & fridge. Love the size of the room that all of us can stay together. The counter is friendly too. The downside is that the cleanliness and recovery service needs to be improve. We found 2 insects in the room which have no idea what is it. The housekeeper just clean off without stating any reason. The blanket are old and yellowish but the bed are big. We are able walk to pavilion but is a slope means we have to walk up and down the slope which is not friendly to elderly. Laundry service needs to pay as well.

Good Job

The room is so outdated and boring .. But the hallway smell like new refurbished. Pillow is dirty with stains. This hotel completely sold out during new year maybe because of the location. And this hotel situated @ the famous clubbing area in malaysia - Changkat Bukit Bukit. So bear in mind, if ur room facing the club/bar area.. Its little bit noisy and loud at night.

Ramada suites is location at main city centre near to all main places the main benefit is it has bigger rooms for all be it couples or bigger families Highly recommend it
