Nice hotel with free parking.
Staff are super friendly, with lots of smiling faces at reception and at the breakfast restaurant.
Oh, the housekeeper folded up our pajamas into a dancing couple ! So lovely ! Warmest stay in our Austrian trip！
Location is between the historical town center and the Danube. Takes about 10-15 minutes to walk in either direction.

Nice hotel
The hotel is very well located for accessing the city center. There is a beautiful park nearby. Motorcycle parking is available in the hotel garden, which is closed overnight. The staff were very friendly and offered a full breakfast with eggs upon request.

For me, the number one thing about Hotel Unter Den Linden is the location. I had a 6:10am train the next morning that I had to catch and the hotel is 1 kilometer (walking) to the train station. But it is also only 350 meters to Steinertor, the gateway entrance to the pedestrian section of the Altstadt. That said, it is a clean, fairly ordinary hotel, which is fine with me. The cost was quite reasonable. The bathroom was clean and modern. The staff was friendly. I was able to drop off my backpack in their storage area before the check in time. I see from other reviews that the breakfast is good, but, unfortunately, with my early train I had to miss it. The inner courtyard has outdoor seating and a swing for kids. It's a large hotel, lots of rooms, so vacancy was not a problem. Even though its on a corner, I heard no traffic noise, and my room was on the ground floor.

We were passing through for a one night stay, from Vienna, heading for Melk. The hotel is well located near the highway but in the small quiet town of Krems. It offered a nice night's sleep and a complete breakfast. Our room was large, comfortable and very clean! There was no air conditioning but the evening was cool and we could open the windows. Our room was facing the street but the town was quiet at night. The staff was friendly and welcoming. There was free parking on the premises. Thank you!

The room was large, quietly and very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The shower and toilet were in separate rooms. The wifi was easy to setup and very fast. Our stay included a breakfast that was excellent with a lot of options. The staff were all super nice and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone that looking to stay in Krems.

We stayed at the Unter den Linden for one night in July. On-site parking was available. The room was small but comfortable, clean and quiet. There was no air conditioning, so it was hot at night as it was a particularly warm night. There are a number of restaurants within 10 minutes walk. The breakfast was fine with good wholemeal bread. The hotel had a quiet and efficient air about it with well trained and helpful staff.

The hotel has charm and is located quite near the historic old town center and within walking distance to the museums; the staff is friendly and helpful; the breakfast buffet is very nice with a wide selection of foods, very authentic Austrian ambiance to the breakfast and the hotel. The short comings are that there is no kettle or fridge with no food services at the hotel except for the breakfast buffet. The nearby restaurants are expensive though there are a few supermarkets within walking distance.

We had a "comfort double" room which was perfect for our 2 night stay. Our lovely room (E5) had a couple of chairs and a little low table in a sitting area with a nice big LCD TV with English language channels. No desk, but we used the low table for our 2 laptops and were happy with it. WIFI worked great. Our ground floor room faced the inner courtyard and was very quiet. Just a short walk to Krems, the hotel will provide a handy city map, and a great base for sightseeing in the Wachau Valley. We loved this place, everyone was very friendly and helpful. We would love to stay here again - 2 nights was too short.
