Rooms comfortable and clean, but no air conditioning which made it quite uncomfortable until I was given a fan, which helped some. There was a fridge and tv, and balcony. We were overlooking church which chimed very regularly which was a bit disturbing. Towels and sheets changed regularly. We were half board, the food was ok, some days better than others. Always well cooked, the restaurant staff were very helpful and looked after us well. You must always ask if you need or want something. Disappointed not to have complimentary water with evening meal.

Very nice hotel in the centre of Kranjska Gora. Buffet dinner was excellent with choices of very tender meats and usually pasta too. Delicious cakes (as everywhere in Slovenia) . The room was good with very soft pillows and a nice shower. No aircon but the staff lent a fan which was fine. Would have been nice to have a kettle in the room. KG is a beautiful area with well marked trails for hiking and absolutely litter free. There is an hourly bus service to Ratece, and it is easy to walk to Italy from there and even to the meeting of three countries ( Italy , Austria and Slovenia ) at the top of Mount Tromeja, although this is more challenging. Also worth visiting the delightful Jasna lake- an easy stroll away.

Alhoewel het gebouw er aan de buitenkant enigszins gedateerd uitziet, zag het er binnen moderner, netjes en comfortabel uit. We hadden een mooie ruime kamer. Het ontbijt was bijzonder uitgebreid en we hebben meteen nog 3 extra dagen bijgeboekt op het einde van onze reis. De gordijnen zijn wel te licht om de kamer te verduisteren. We hebben geen gebruik gemaakt van het binnenzwembad gezien het buiten heel warm was. Een buitenzwembad hebben ze helaas niet.

Room Comfortable and clean. Has to and fridge, but no tea making facilities. Our room was overlooking the church which chimes 24hrs a day! Luckily we bought earplugs. The biggest problem is that it is hot as no air conditioning. So had windows open, unfortunately mosquitoes enjoyed biting me every night, despite sprays. Windows have no fly screens. Restaurant Food fine, not great but ok. Dinner is served with no complimentary drink, no even water, which was strange. Facilities We were able to use the pool at neighbouring hotel, as part of deal, which was lovely.

Abbiamo soggiornato per tre giorni a fine agosto in questo albergo. La posizione era ottima, la stanza grande, un po' datata. Non c'era l'aria condizionata, le finestre si aprivano solo a libro ed il pomeriggio faceva caldo. La sera invece, si sentivano i rumori dalla strada. La stanza non era insonorizzata e si sentivano i festaioli ed i motoristi che si radunavano con i motori accesi. La colazione era buona, il prezzo corretto. Suggerisco a chi volesse alloggiare in questo albergo, di scegliere le camere con vista parco e dotate di balcone. Costeranno un po' di più, ma penso che siano più fresche ed anche la musica sarà diversa, forse si sente il rumore degli uccellini che cantano la mattina.
