It was my first time in Africa and I encountered heavy rain. I actually only stayed in the hotel for one day and had to move to another camp. The hotel and restaurant were good, but I was really unhappy to encounter the flood. I don't know if the hotel fee included tips. When I left, the driver kept hinting that I should tip.

This is real Safari. It feels like living in a tent, comfortable, hygienic and safe. Every meal is fine dining carefully prepared. Wonderful atmosphere in the lodge from the beginning until the very end. Everyone is always willing to help, the room we had was fantastic with a direct view on the river and with hippos passing by in the night, only to be found next morning in front of the restaurant. The room service is excellent and the room itself perfect, beautiful and very comfortable . And three times a day a rich and very well cooked meal is served in the open dinner place. But the climax of all were the game rides with Ezekiel, our driver, who undertook all possibilities to make our stay in the Mara Intrepid Lodge unforgettable. Thanks so much to everyone !!

We cannot recommend Mara intrepids enough. We had a beautiful experience in large part due to our game drivers Joab and Mark who made the perfect pair who complemented each other. We were lucky to see such incredible moments and animals with them and form a family for 5 days. We packed our breakfasts everyday to do long drives and had bush breakfasts which really immersed ourselves in nature. Joab and Mark were so knowledgeable and passionate about all elements of nature. They made our trip an unforgettable adventure and we can’t wait to go back to see them! Everyone at reception, including Daisy and Cecilia, and our servers, including Vivian, were all so helpful and amazing. The grounds are beautiful - the infinity pool is really amazing and the location is perfect in the middle of the bush. Choose intrepids for a stay you won’t forget and request Joab and Mark!!!!

The guys at the Mara interpret are outstanding They have raised the bar for luxury Our game drive guide/driver Mr.John was very knowledgeable and passionate and made sure that we had a great experience and took extra efforts so that we could see different parts of Tamara and explore the wildlife The hotel is just two minute drive from the airstrip, which makes it very convenient to reach. The food is the most outstanding food you will ever have The set menus are curated every single day, and aur Michelin star quality. The chef create everything fresh, and the servers help you with a big smile. Our server Joshua was great.. The tents are comfortable to stay in, they also provided us with warm water bags everyday. It was much needed after sitting in the game drives on bumpy roads. Will highly recommend

It was an incredible experience to wake up amongst the flora and fauna of Africa. The staff did a wonderful caring job of ensuring our every need was met! The food choices were broad. We are older and prefer a light cuisine, and were not at all disappointed or challenged by the menu. The food was beautifully presented.

we spend three nights with our family : 5 adults and 4 children in four comfortable tents . We were very satisfied with all the services : housekeeping , kitchen , shop , game drive . The staff was always happy to serve all of us and even offered us unexpected animation : anniversary dinner , Massai dancers , plantation of celebration tree , presents to the children, ...

This place came to us highly rated. It lived up to its reputation in so many ways. The accommodation is high class, the food is very good, and the service is all-round excellent. Ann the masseuse is superb, with a portable table for open air massage. The location, close to the air ***** is very convenient. But the top attraction is the safari drive. We went twice in the morning (early starts), and once in the evening. We had breakfast picnicking on the savanna plains. We had sundowners (our order of drinks), at sunset for some most beautiful of experiences that we’ll treasure forever! I’d like to think we’ll be back someday? Highly recommended.

Beautiful campground! What I loved: 1. The bonfire talks before dinner 2. 5 star chief with beautiful presentation of food 3. Clean and well appointed tents 4. Hot water bottle warming the bed on the chilly nights. The only thing I didn’t like was turning off the electricity from 12 to 5 am. It was so dark you couldn’t see your hand in front of your face.
