I had a wonderful stay at Le Méridien Kota Kinabalu from 17–18 August. The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free, and I was delighted by the beautifully appointed room that immediately set the tone for a relaxing stay. A heartfelt thank you to the team for the thoughtful belated birthday gesture arranged on the bed, especially since it was a last-minute request—it truly meant a lot. The sea view from the room was absolutely scenic and added a serene charm to the experience. The breakfast spread was equally impressive, with a wide variety of delicious options to start the day right. Overall, it was a memorable and enjoyable stay, and I look forward to returning again.

I would like to extend my gratitude towards the staff's name Nova. She's really helpful and she's comply will all my request even though it's a just a small gesture. I do feel welcome with her warmly greeting and she still check on me after i've checked in. Highly recommended for this hotel as its just right in front of 'philipines market' and great location for tourist to have a walk for shopping a local food n souvenir and have a good seafood meals.10/10 for the bed!!!

Fantastic stay we had the best sunset views over the bay the staff were all extremely friendly and efficient. We are coming back in a couple if days after we go to sandakan. Highly recommend this hotel the markets and restaurants all close.

Located in the center of the city of Kota Kinabalu. Nice sea view especially during the sunset.

Rooftop restaurant was the highlight of this trip. My preferred hotel when i travel to kk. Thank you Le Meridien team for making my stay comfortable and memoriable. I love every part of it. Will definately be back.. thank you

Started and ended our 8-day Sabah adventure at Le Meridien KK — and we’re so glad we did. 💛 Spacious rooms, beautiful sea views, and a location that’s truly hard to beat. Yes, the carpark’s a little dated, but everything else more than made up for it: efficient staff, a decent breakfast spread, and the best kind of convenience — family-friendly eateries, laundry, and even a massage spot just steps away. Perfect base to explore the heart of KK! 🌴🌊

The hotel has a good view of the islands and jetty as shown in the pictures . The cleanliness of the the hotel is worrying as a Marriott entity . Still would come back here provided they will renovate the hotel as what the staff claimed . Mobile key didn’t work throughout my stay quite disappointing .

The room is large. The bed is comfortable but the pillow little bit smelly and i request to change the pillow. Near to everything. Everything is good.

The room was very spacious with beautiful enterior And we are surprise with beautiful deco ‘swan’ in our bed. It meaning a lots. The breakfast was superb with lots of choices food to eat

I recently stayed at Le Meridien and was thoroughly impressed by the top-class service. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel valued from the moment we arrived. Room service was prompt and efficient, arriving without delay whenever we needed it. Additionally, when we arrived hours ahead of schedule, the team graciously accommodated us with an early check-in—3 hours before standard time—which was greatly appreciated. To top it off, the sunset views from your rooftop bar were absolutely breathtaking and made our stay unforgettable. Thank you for a flawless experience—we’ll definitely be returning!
