"The hotel has a beautiful location with a view of the Rhine. However, the hotel and the grounds need to be renovated, e.g. the cordoned-off viewing pavilion, football pitch, bent signs, stairs in the garden cleaned because they were too slippery (moss). The hotel room also needed renovation: the toilet door was stuck, the ventilation didn't work, the filters were full of dust and dirt, the lights in the toilet couldn't be turned off. There was also a lack of precise information: the QR code in the room only led to the general Jufa website. No information about the restaurant, menu, swimming pool, how many and which rooms there are, sights and important addresses in the area, public transport. The breakfast was excellent, plentiful and with lots of regional products, very good homemade jam. Some wholemeal bread would have been good. We didn't go to the restaurant for dinner because the menu was posted too late. Conclusion: The hotel gives the impression of a good youth hostel, but doesn't deserve 4 stars. However, we were very satisfied with the price-performance ratio. The staff were extremely friendly."

" We celebrated a birthday in the Hotel Krone in Kingswinter and were excited around! From the first moment we felt welcome – the atmosphere is stylish and cozy, the service is extraordinarily warm and attentive. Especially impressed we were the vegan food – every dish was prepared with much love, tastefully excellent and beautifully decorated. A real highlight! Also the night was perfect: the room was comfortable, quiet and tastefully furnished. I have rarely sleeped so well! This hotel has clearly deserved 5 stars. We definitely come back and can only recommend it warmly further! "
