The hotel located in a beautiful recreational area North of Copenhagen between 3 idyllic lakes that I Know well from having lived in Bagsværd in the 70's and 80's. It is clearly a congress hotel, but OK as a single recreational visitor. Check-in was efficient, neither warm nor the opposite, though when asking why they required to know my birthday, got a nonsense-reply (and being a privacy hawk, I gave them a close enough fake!) The room was standard, with no A/C during this very hot Summer in Denmark, so I once again was saved by my powerful travel Fan! The veranda had a nice view across one of the waterways used by sailors and boats, but load neighbors, with the woman talking non-stop took some of the serenity away! Nice warm and cold breakfast, but with no espresso machine as is common at hotel morning buffets. Free parking. All in all an OK stay, especially since the price + a rental car still made it cheaper than staying in Copenhagen proper. I would stay there again
