Euphoria Resort - All Inclusive

Its difficult to be constructive after what we've experienced in this so called 5 star all inclusive. The buildings and maybe one of the a la carte (Chef's Grill) restaurants are the only things you can argue resemble something close to 5 stars, everything else... 1. Our room was left open by the cleaner on 2 separate occasions for 3-4 hours while we were at the beach. First time the front door then 2nd time the rear terrace door and that's on the ground floor so you can get in through either. Just by pure luck nothing was taken. 2. One of the so called pool lifeguards smokes, flicking cigarette ash and spits snot into the pool while people are swimming in it. 3. Half of the staff are simply lazy, drowsy, poorly educated/trained kids that may be polite but are barely capable of tying their own shoelaces, never mind providing any kind of service. I've never spent this amount of time queuing, waiting and reordering forgotten items. You have to wait 15m for 2 bar staff and 3 waiters to finish their chat and bring out 2 coffees when there is nobody else at the bar. There were many other cases of useless waiter staff, but im going to stop here... 4. This is a funny one, there is a semi pet duck that lives near the main pool. It produces a decent amount of 5 star crap into and around the pool. They do clean it up eventually but you have to watch where you're stepping while going for your evening dinner as during this time there are no cleaners. At checkout when all this was brought up at the reception, the manager apologized and acknowledged they have issues with staff and young people, but is that 5 star?! I've never seen this in any number of star hotels over probably 20 years... The first 2 points deserve a firing, if they dont then what does?! This hotel is for the staff to chill not for you. When you see the good reviews and decide to book, you're just playing your luck that you get served by the normal 50% of staff. While paying 5 star prices, it might be wiser not to gamble on 50/50.

Fantastic family resort with everyone trying to make you feel at home. Resort cleanliness is spotless. Restaurants food is good with variety of selection from buffet. Lots of activities organized throughout the week. Will definitely come back again
