The Leela Ashtamudi, A Raviz Hotel

Breakfast buffet was amazing, the place was really really nice too. Would 100% recommend this place.

Short but great stay… I stayed with my family and in laws in this hotel during this week. The property as a whole looked great with big chandler and minimal decor.Had 2 rooms in which one was pool villa and the other was a room with jacuzzi. Both the rooms decor were completely different from each other. Pool villa was on the traditional side and the other room was looking modern with private balcony which was overlooking the ashtamudi lake which was truly breathtaking. I feel like the pool villa needs bit more maintenance as there were cracks on the wooden pillar inside and the toilet purge wasn’t working properly. Curtains on the windows looked old and poorly maintained. There was no side rails for the steps to villa as well which is a risk for kids and senior people to climb up or down. I would expect more than this from a 5 star property. The garden is well maintained, but need to keep an eye out for any danger noodle especially in the garden furnitures. The staffs are found to be working hard to maintain the beauty of the place . Had boat ride in the evening which was a serene experience. Enjoyed ashtamudi lake to the finest. Had snack before and after our boat trip too., Room service was truly amazing. Staffs were really prompt and attentive. Even the staff at the restaurant and reception were very pleasant and friendly. They always keep a gentle smile on their face . Always around to assist with anything and everything. Truly welcoming . I celebrated my in laws wedding anniversary here and the staff brought in the cake and champagne promptly. The cake was super delicious. Thank you so much for making this occasion most memorable. Food was scrumptious. There was wide variety of dishes from south and North Indian and even continental . Had a big selection of desserts too. The ambiance in the restaurant was amazing as well. I would definitely reconsider and recommend to stay here.

Literally a very bad hospitality, the staff is not at all hospitable. At night when we were sleeping someone banged on the door, and when we went to check, staff replied sorry did it by mistake. This is what you accept from a five star resort. Completely disturbing sleep at night, this is how you treat senior cotizen who have come to relax all the way from Delhi to kerala. Expected a good hospitality which was completely missing. Cherry on the top, no cabs available from the hotel to go anywhere neither the staff or managers help in this. We are staying till Sunday. Its a 5 day trip and checkin on wednesday

We had a wonderful time at the resort. The food was really delicious with a good variety of options, and the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, making it a perfect getaway. Definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay!
