Beautiful hotel in a very quiet part of the island. Loved the buffet breakfast, nice selection of western and Thai foods. The room was modern, and exceptionally clean. Very restful stay! A few things that we didn’t love the rooms aren’t super sound proofed and we were woken up to the neighbors shutting doors. Location is a bit far if you don’t rent a motorbike. Overall, would stay again!

The Samed Resorts group offers the guests a free boat shuttle service to Samed Island (even free car parking), which I find very convenient. The staff helped us loading the baggage to the boat and from the boat to the hotel. Ban Ploy sea is located right next to the pier with a few minutes walk. The check-in went smoothly. The staff was so helpful and friendly. He even offered me an upgrade room with the sea front view for 2 nights. The room was clean and comfy. At the back of the resort is a log house cafe, offering tasty cakes and fancy drinks. I feel really relaxed lying on a private beach. In the evening we were so lazy to go out, just had dinner at the hotel‘s restaurant every night. It was not cheap but everything was delicious. Overall, we are very satisfied. Highly recommended!

After much deliberation, we finally settled on this hotel. Perhaps because we visited during the off-peak season, there weren't many guests, which made for a wonderfully peaceful and satisfying experience. The hotel restaurant served delicious and reasonably priced meals; in fact, we ended up having all three of our daily meals there. They also boast a stunning jungle-themed coffee shop, and the staff even offered us a discount. The only minor drawback was the air conditioning in our room, which was quite noisy, but otherwise, everything was excellent.

What a great hotel. The location is idylic. The room was clean. The private beach was lovely and they had a fire show every night. The restaurant on site was the best on the island. The pool was nice. There is a motorbike rental shop conveniently right next door. The tour services offered are reasonably priced and not marked up just because they are offered by the hotel. My only complaint is that there are lots of dogs barking all night.

Very nice. Cosy and away from crowds.. this is not at the main beach

I stayed at a quiet mini resort, which was great for peace and quiet. The best part was the chocolate cabin in the woods behind it. The infinity pool was mostly quiet and the rooms were cleaned well, which was important to me as someone with OCD. Despite being on the ground level with a sea view, I didn't encounter any bugs or ants inside. The staff was decent, but not overly welcoming or friendly. Jik, who worked at the reception, was helpful and booked reservations for us at restaurants and other Samed group resorts. However, the resort was a bit far (15-minute drive) from everything else, making it quite a ride by motorbike or taxi. The distance felt longer when traveling around the island. My least favourite thing was the breakfast restaurant. The Japanese style seating, while great for lunches or dinners, became annoying after a day or two, especially during breakfast when I needed to get up several times and bruised myself getting up. The restaurant also had an ant problem, which made me feel very uneasy and ruined my enjoyment of breakfast. I wished we hadn't included breakfast at the hotel. I felt that the same hygiene methods used for the rooms should be applied to the restaurant to prevent the ant issue.

We stayed at Baan Ploy Sea for the second time, and the service was excellent. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of selections. If you’re looking for a quiet place to relax, Baan Ploy Sea is the perfect choice.

We had a wonderful first resort experience. The service and facilities were great, fireshow was exciting and our 3 hour snorkelling adventure was super fun.

really cozy places, i prefer villas in the forest side than beside the sea...nice breakfast and great staff.

Quiet, clean, good location. Overall service is great. However, it would be great if there were more lights for the buildings at the back of the property.

Nice place to spend with family on weekend if you preferred less crowded and chilled place, they have a nice cafe be sure to check it out in the morning. Restaurant also not bad.
