I love this hotel because of its location and friendly staff. I have been here twice, I just love the island and vibes. I prefer the hotel, because it has a best location in the island in my opinion. There are still some things that need to get improved, fx bungalows are bit tired, but still cosy enough. The staff is also very nice and helpful. I feel very safe and relaxed here.

Superb location Perfect cuisine Top service But: Not a very warm welcome unlike all the catering and service staff, especially the suitcase porters The beach equipment is limited in quantity and in poor condition Outdated room and in average condition (doors that close with difficulty) The prices of the catering are in line with the distance, so a little expensive for Thailand In short, a very good stay but a little maintenance would make it exceptional!

I did not stay here but had their all-you-can-eat breakfasts many times. Wonderful variety of breads, cereals, eggs done in at least 3 different ways, hash browns, fried rice, seasonal fruits and the most amazing cappuccino and Latte. A great way to start the day which will keep you going all day until supper. And of course, it goes without saying, the friendliest, most accommodating staff one can find anywhere. Highly recommend Mayalay for its ambience, it's welcoming and friendly service and their amazing breakfasts.

This is our favorite place to go to when we’re in Thailand. The island is very quite and calm and very beautiful. The resort is nice, has bungalows on the beach. The restaurant and reception is really cozy and they serve very good food. They have sunchairs at the beach and you get beachtowels. The staff is very nice and helpful. We will definitely go back here again. The only things that needs improvement is the wi-fi and the bungalows needs some renovation.

Like a dream
We really liked Mayalay resort. It is simple but clean and right at the beach. The beach mest the Hotel was the best part of the beach on Koh Ngai. The staff was very friendly and we could book one extra Night. The breakfast was ok and you could order some single dish if you liked. There was not no many vegan or vegetarian options for breakfast. The food on the resort was good. We want to go back!
