Kochi Terminal Hotel

It's conveniently located near the shopping district, so it's easy to go shopping. I didn't want to eat out because I was tired, so I ordered delivery, but it was delicious and I was grateful.

Located near Harimayabashi, opposite Kochi Bus Terminal. The hotel itself is a bit small and the facilities are old, but it is still good value for money. The staff's service was also friendly. It is located about a 15-minute walk from Kochi Station. If the time allowed, I used the Tosaden street train, but I mostly walked. All tourist attractions in downtown Kochi are worth walking to. Except for the Kochi Prefectural Art Museum.

I decided to go to Kochi on short notice, and when I searched for a hotel, most of the hotels in Kochi city were fully booked, and almost all the twin rooms were gone. (I found out when I got there that the hotel was overflowing with high school students for the Inter-High School Championships.) I finally found two single rooms available and booked them, so I didn't have high expectations. It's an ordinary business hotel. However, it's a very convenient hotel for those who arrive at Kochi Airport by plane or travel by public transportation such as buses. The airport bus stop "Harimayabashi Tourist Bus Terminal" is across the street from the traffic light. The "Dentetsu Terminal Building", where the airport bus and MY-YU bus stop is, is also a 3-minute walk away. The entertainment district, Obiyamachi Street, is also a 3-minute walk away, so the location for sightseeing was excellent. I recommend it for those who can accept it as a hotel for sleeping.

I made a reservation through Rakuten Travel. I will also post this here to warn people. Please be careful if you are planning to stay with this plan. Even though it is called a special discount campaign plan, at check-in, there is an additional charge of "Rakuten is offering it at a discount of ◯◯ yen, so the subsidy will be calculated by adding ◯◯ yen to the reservation price." In addition, the plan description clearly states, "Prices are changed and sold based on internet sales throughout the year. This plan (= special discount campaign plan) will be offered at our hotel's [regular price]." It's an additional charge on top of the regular price. After that, perhaps because they looked at the reviews, I received a cash refund from the manager at check-out. There was no message or anything. I feel sorry for the staff who were assigned to handle the refund. When I reported this to the special discount campaign office, they decided that this method of operation was inappropriate, and they said they would confirm the facts and provide guidance to the hotel.
