HOTEL Meriken Port Kobe Motomachi Reviews

Rooms are bigger than average Japanese hotels, basically a new hotel just a minute away from KOBE CHINA TOWN. Plenty of shops to enjoy food or shopping. Breakfast is a little simple Indian restaurant, nothing to choose much. Bicycles can been rent at the front desk for 500 JPY per use. Very convenient to get around the city. Will absolutely stay here every-TIME visiting KOBE.

Great place for a few days stay. Near to meriken park, Kobe tower and Chinatown. Even walked to harborland. Beds are spacious. Although no housekeeping during our 2 night stay, they provide fresh bath towels daily.

This is a hotel in downtown Kobe, it is quite big and offers a 3-person room.

A strategic hotel to stay 2 nights in Kobe. Strolling around the city is so much convenient. Recommended. Nice building.

Best location. Every where can be reach by foot. To the whaft, China Town , Daimaru ,Harborland .... you name it. There's three adults in our group in a room. We only brought a large and a small luggage with us. So to those who have more luggage, there'll a problem opening it. Parking space in the hotel is right behind the building. Limited space with ¥2000 /day , first come first served.

The location is very convenient — just a 2–3 minute walk to Chinatown and about 10–15 minutes to the Harbor. The room was surprisingly spacious and very clean; I was able to fully open both of my travel bags (24" and 28") with ease. One unexpected surprise was the breakfast — it was entirely Indian cuisine. While I personally enjoy Indian food, I found it a bit heavy for the morning. That said, the flavors were excellent! As for the staff, I would recommend having Google Translate ready. Compared to hotels in other cities, the communication here was a bit more challenging. It seems the team hasn’t had as much experience interacting with international guests.

Good service and location

Location was great. But everything else was just sad. No water provided in the room. The rooms were musky and old smelling…and the hotel staff barely spoke English.

Located close to Meriken part and the Port of Kobe tower. Conveniently located near the Kobe China town and Sonomiya shopping areas.

Hotel is centrally located - easy to drive around with the parking lots behind. I highly recommend the triple room for families ! A lot of space ! We greatly enjoyed our stay! The Indian restaurant has great tandoori chicken- give it a try! Thank you again !!!
