I was there last Saturday the 25th of October around 230 got a lovely comfortable seat I ordered the fresh hake the food was excellent so tasty ate staff were extremely good definitely will go back it is a credit to u chef and all the staff

Upmarket hotel with luxurious accommodation with an excellent breakfast and evening meal. There is an open fireplace in the small lounge. It is next to a busy road but our room was at the back and was quiet. There is off road free parking. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

We attended a wedding at the Borris Castle which was a 10 minute walk away. This hotel was very welcoming and beautiful. The room was large with a very comfortable bed and adequate closet space. We had a lovely terrace/balcony . The breakfast buffet was fresh and delicious and the pub served excellent food as well.

Perfect hotel in between Cork and Dublin
Perfect hotel to stay in before heading back to Dublin. Great location to visit Kilkenny, and some of the smaller towns in between Cork and Dublin. Quaint hotel with a great bar and restaurant. Fantastic staff.

Amazing little hidden gem! 😍 We absolutely loved this place. Very nice place, super tasty food and friendly staff We'd definitely go back again. We had also a nice walk on the old viaduct which is a most to do. This place is perfect for a quick break and have a relaxing time.

Wonderful stay as always, home from home. A beautiful turf fire greets you upon arrival. Rooms are spacious and elegant. Food is 1st class as always and severed by very friendly and welcoming staff. Very relaxing comfortable atmosphere in the bar to enjoy a few drinks and a friendly chat with Benny. Definitely worth our 9th visit and look forward to the 10th 🤗😉

Richard Hickey met us at the door and gave us his you never booked but come in anyway look . We enjoyed the curry and warm brown bread and settled on wild cod for me and turkey and ham for pat . I’m not going to go through my cod dish as only a picture could do it justice Portions were large so we asked Richard if we could bring the doggy bag home . Suffice to say the madra x by 8 got dinner but not from the crumbs of Alan foleys table . The desert was divine more than enough for both of us . As usual all the staff were more than professional. Next Sunday Richard keep a table .
