Stayed here with colleagues for about a month. We had 3 apartment style rooms, and one double standard hotel room. One of the apartments was very nice, and newly renovated with a sitting area, breakfast nook, full kitchen, separate bedroom, laundry, and a sweet bathroom. Only issue in this room was the fridge was extremely noisy. The other two apartments were partially renovated, and comfy enough with full kitchens, separate bedroom, table, and bath. The beds in the two partially renovated rooms need to be replaced. The staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. They were quick to fix any issues we had, including replacing a faulty door lock immediately. As in other reviews, it's true they are not always in the office, but a phone call to them was always answered. They are in the process of renovations, and potentially new construction. My only complaint was that the housekeeping staff did not do a great job. We were there for a month and I think the bathroom was cleaned once, and the floors were never cleaned. Fresh towels and linens were provided once a week, which was fine. The view from the apartments was great! Nice balcony to relax on. I would stay here again.

What was going to be a 2-night stay became a 3-night stay due to an epic snow storm. What a fantastic port in a storm though! My room was ultra deluxe, the bed so comfortable, the linens lovely. A comfortable sitting area with a floor lamp for reading, a beautiful stonework fireplace in which pedestal candles were placed to offer a lovely ambiance. Glen brought in a microwave so that I could heat up my dinner the first night. The bathroom had a beautiful stone floor and huge stone walk-in shower. And I loved the in-floor heating. All this for a very reasonable highly competitive price! Chef Abhi’s, in the main Lodge building, offers absolutely delicious Indian food as well as Western food options. Chef Abhi comes out into the dining area and greets and chats with the diners and obviously knows all the regulars. A very friendly atmosphere. And the breakfasts at Café Zesta were so yummy. Glen, the owner, went several extra miles to take care of me. Literally and figuratively! My front wheel drive Matrix had some difficulty negotiating the steep driveways in the snow storm, and he was ready and willing to help me out. During white out conditions and extreme snow accumulations, I parked and left my car downtown, and Glen came and picked me up, delivered me safely to the lodge, and drove me back into town the next morning, dug out my car, and saw me in my way. I can’t recommend this place enough! Fabulous!!!

The room we had at the Lodge was beautiful. It was spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed. The balcony overlooking the cedar trees made it feel like we were in a treehouse. We ate at the Indian restaurant at the Lodge and it was fantastic food. Everything was so fresh. I love Indian food and Chef Abhi’s was some of the best Indian food I have had. Beautiful flavours and so well balanced. I could taste the love and intention in their food. A stay at the Lodge won’t disappoint but to fully enjoy, a room with a balcony is a must.

Beauty and comfort
This is our second time staying here and it was as great as the last time. I’ll continue staying here when my visit my family in Terrace. I live in the rainforest on Vancouver Island and this lodge just feels like home.

It is always a pleasure to stay at the Lodge. It’s tucked into the trees out of the town core. The check in and out is seamless and I appreciate the 1pm check in. The rooms are comfortably furnished and very clean. IMO the quality of accommodation for the price is exceptional!

The Lodge at Skeena Landing is fantastic!! They offer Spacious, clean, brand new rooms minutes from downtown Terrace. Do not let the un-paved driveway fool you. The rooms are huge with vaulted ceilings , comfy beds with high quality covers and pillows, flat screen large tv's ,mini frig and a fireplaces snuggled in the forest so you feel like you are in the out back. Pure class!
