"The hotel's location right on the main street is super convenient for getting around. The common area has a great view, which is lovely when you're grabbing something to eat. Even though multiple people share a room, the curtains provide excellent privacy."

"1) The escalator leading from the lobby to the mezzanine level was out of order. Given the makeshift barrier on the mezzanine level, it looked like the escalator had been out of commission for some time. Quite a shame from a convenience standpoint. 2) I had checked into the hotel after midnight because of a flight delay so I was pretty exhausted and fell asleep quickly after taking a shower, brushing my teeth, etc. I woke up in the middle of my first night's stay noticing a foul odor. After walking around the room and initially thinking it was coming from the A/C vent, I pinpointed the origin of the bad smell to the linens: the pillowcases, sheets, blanket. It smelled like a dirty wet sponge or clothes that never dried completely but were put back in the dresser drawer. I pulled all of the linens off the bed and left a note for housekeeping to replace them because of a foul odor. They did and it was fine the rest of my stay, but the point is I never should have had to do that. 3) Upon returning from my uncle's funeral Saturday night, to my dismay I found 20-30 cars that had been double-parked by the valets in the hotel parking lot. After circling the lot several times in the hopes of catching someone leaving but having no success, I decided to look into valet parking, figuring that since I was a hotel guest they would have something worked out. When the valet told me the valet fee was $49 even for hotel guests I was flabbergasted and declined. He instructed me to go back to the parking garage and speak to the parking attendant to ask about my parking options. When I got there, the parking attendant initially refused to come out of his booth to help me so I had to enter the garage, go all the way around to the exit and talk to him so that he didn't have to leave his booth. He pointed at a white car parked outside and told me to look for parking ”around there.” I asked him if that was assigned to the hotel, because I did not want to wake up tomorrow morning to discover that my rental car had been towed or impounded. He did not convince me that this was not a possibility so I parked the car where he instructed me to, took photos of the area, and went to the hotel registration desk to look further into the parking situation. The signage was also not clear. When I got to the registration desk, I was helped by an employee who seemed to have a French accent. He was definitely European, with very short hair. I explained what had just happened with the parking and he told me that the hotel did not have ”jurisdiction” over that parking area and he could not guarantee me that my car would not be towed. There happened to be another employee, a local guy, just finishing a transaction with a hotel guest so I moved one station over and asked him the same question. He clarified the situation and explained that that outside parking area (in the middle, under the ramp) was overflow parking for the hotel, and, as long as my hotel parking pass was clearly displayed, my car could remain there for the duration of my stay."

"Very good location, lots of bar and restaurants nearby. The staff is very friendly and cool. The housekeeping is on point, and there’s also a laundry in the hotel. The parking is quite expensive though (around 67$) so we canceled our car. It’s our second time here, we will definitely choose Ohia waikiki hotel again"

"This is our go-to hotel in Waikiki. They offer luggage storage, and it's easy to call taxis or get food deliveries. The W line bus to the airport stops right outside the hotel. It's an older hotel but always clean, offering great value for money. It's a 10-minute walk to the Hilton and the beach. This year, a hotpot buffet opened right next door, which is pretty good! Also within walking distance to Ala Moana shopping center."

"Staff friendly and helpful. I had trouble booking online rate, one of the staff indicated that gave a discount for Ex-military/Military, assisted and booked the room for 3 more nites. Service was very good. Extra towels available and amenities provided as needed. Location was great, walking distance to the beach, restaurants and more."

"Overall, had a nice stay and can recommend it! The room was just the right size, really nice bed and fairly well equipped. Would've liked some additional amenities and a kettle but got it sent up to the room after a quick request to the front desk. The immediate vicinity of the hotel has what you might want, a bunch of supermarkets and restaurants and isn't too noisy. Would've been a perfect stay if it wasn't for the construction ground blocking the view to the ocean (no bigger issue with noise, in case someone would be concerned). Oh, also the gym present on the premises was much more well equipped than I would've expected and should be enough for the typical gym rat to flex a little bit before going to the beach(not enough for a serious session ofc)."

"We opted for a room in the more expensive Ocean Tower, which offered lovely views of the pool and a partial ocean view. It was great to have a free water and ice dispenser. The restaurant downstairs is famous and delicious, though the tips were quite high. The housekeeping staff were very friendly and attentive. At the front desk, one gentleman's attitude was a bit lukewarm, but all the ladies were very kind. The hotel is conveniently located close to both the beach and the city center. They also offer a good number of their own activities where you can learn about Hawaiian culture. Every evening, there were different bands playing for three hours, creating an amazing atmosphere. For a family, the price was quite reasonable."

"The location is good as there is Waikiki Market nearby and you can walk to Waikiki Beach and Kapiolani Park. Although the hotel is not new, the staff are friendly and the rooms are cleaned, so you can stay with peace of mind. I wasn't expecting much, but I could see the ocean of Waikiki in the distance from the balcony."

"Spent 2 nights at Hotel La Croix on Oahu. Arrived quite early; around noon and figured I’d try to see if I could get an early check in. The front desk employee, Vince, recognized me from my last stay there a couple months ago. He helped my parents and I get into an available room for an early check in.  Room was clean and had a good view of the city which I wish I took some photos of. If there was one downside I think it would have to be the pillows. There were pretty flat and well used but clean. Definitely wish they were bigger and more life to them.  Overall the stay was great. No issues and the manager Craig also suggested some good places to go an eat at."

"3泊4日で泊まりました。 午前に飛行機が到着したので早めに休みたいと思い、予定よりも早めのチェックインをしましたが、追加料金はありませんでした。受付の方はとても親切に説明していただきました。 客室の良い点ですが、ベッドはとても綺麗にメイキングされておりとてもフカフカでした。またバルコニーもついており、ビーチ側の客室だととても心地が良いです。 ホテルの立地はとてもよく、ビーチや市内巡回バス停も近く観光をするにはとても良い立地です。鶏が外にいて、たまに彼らの音で目が覚めました。 客室のマイナス点ですが、客室のドアがとても重い上にうまく閉まらない時が何度かありました。また、シャワーの扉が完全に閉まらなく、シャワー中外に水が漏れてしまうことが多々ありました。 また、コーヒーメーカーのコーヒーがとても古く酸化していました。 ホテルの立地のマイナス点ですが、夜のクラブのような音、周囲の治安（公園の住人がウロついてる）が少しありました。 We stayed this hotel for 3days. Our airplane was arrived early so we wanted to rest. We did early check in, but there was no extra fee. Positive point • Bed making was great, clean • All room have balcony • location was very nice, near the beach, shopping area, high brand shops ex • On every Friday, we can see a fireworks at the beach • In the morning, rosters? hens? shout their noise, so it made me wake up easier. Negative point • Our room’s door was so heavy and sometimes we can’t close it very well. • Shower room’s door can’t close perfectly, so sometimes the floor got little bit wet. • the coffee maker’s coffee powder was very old and included oxygen, so taste was not really good. • Sometimes, noise of the clubhouse was so loud and it made me uncomfortable to sleep."
