"Lovely modern aparthotel Very clean and modern style rooms with large walk in shower, memory foam bed made for comfortable sleeping and the bed being a full side instead of two singles pushed together was a bonus compared to other hotels we have stayed in. The tv had option to connect Netflix which we found to fit the style of the room. The reception team were friendly and very helpful. The lobby was unique and different, plenty space to lounge with an array of different chairs/ couches to enjoy while you wait with lots of available charging ports nearby too. There was a pool area with a sauna and hammam, this was an additional €10pp to use for an hour but very nice facilities to use. We stayed in the panoramic sea view room and it was worth the view however there was construction so we couldn’t open the window or have the curtains back to enjoy the view properly. However if we return we would book again and would recommend to stay here 😊"

"The location is very good, it is convenient to go everywhere, in the downtown area, but the waiter is a bit sloppy in cleaning the room. Our rooftop terrace had bird droppings on the floor that were not swept clean, and the lounge chairs were also quite dirty, so we couldn't lie down. On the last day, no one came to clean the room. Ctrip contacted the front desk and they said they would come between 3-5 pm, but no one came after waiting for a long time, wasting a lot of my time. Then they told me that no one would come today, so I had to clean up by myself. After repeatedly telling me that there were no towels to use at night, the temperature was over 30 degrees, and the garbage was not cleaned up and it smelled. At 7/8 o'clock, someone reluctantly came to change the garbage bag and give towels. The actual condition of the terrace floor and lounge chairs is shown in the pictures"

"Coming out of the train station, head towards Marseille's Arc de Triomphe. You'll know you're there when you see the Arc de Triomphe Hotel; the entrance is on the right and the hotel itself is on the left. If you have luggage, use the side entrance as the main entrance has steps. The rooms aren't cleaned daily, and extra towels come with an additional charge. It gets incredibly hot in the room, even though it doesn't get much direct sunlight. If the price difference isn't significant, I'd recommend booking a room with a balcony. Those rooms face outwards and offer a view of the Arc de Triomphe. There was a bit of a mix-up with my Ctrip reservation. The younger guy at the front desk couldn't find my booking, but the more experienced staff member was really helpful and sorted it out even before Ctrip could. The French lady at the front desk during check-out was excellent, very proactive, and even said goodbye in Chinese!"

Personnel agréable et disponible, laverie et distributeurs de boissons sur place. Je reviendrais volontiers à Montempo Marseille."

"The hotel is just next to the Marseille train station and very convenience to go around the city. The airport bus is also inside the train station. Just 40 mins away from the airport. Just about 20 mins walk to the fish market and city centre and some of the sightseeing spots. The little kitchen inside the room is also very nice as we did some cooking during our stay. The staff are friendly and helpful. Recommended... 👍👍"

"First, the positives: The breakfast was fantastic, and the coffee was great, which is a rare find at this price point. The room had a kettle, and the front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful! The hotel is a convenient 10-minute walk to the Old Port. The lobby offered free coffee and croissants. I was really worried about service staff in France only speaking French, but everyone at this hotel spoke excellent English. Now for the issues I encountered: Initially, I was given a room on the fourth floor. When I pulled back the covers, I found a significant amount of hair on the pillows, which seemed to be a mix of human and animal hair (this hotel is pet-friendly). Lifting the duvet revealed even more hair, making it seem like the cleaning staff hadn't changed the bedding at all. The front desk immediately offered me another room on the same floor. After moving my luggage, I still found a small amount of hair when I pulled back the covers in the new room. I then asked the front desk for a fresh set of sheets and duvet covers. They offered to move me again, this time to a room on the 6th floor. This room was much better, but the pillowcases had yellow stains on all four corners. I requested new pillowcases from the front desk and changed them myself. One minor concern: The hotel isn't on the main street and is a bit close to the train station, which made me slightly uneasy walking around at night."

"Get everything you need for an excellent price. Plus, the matress was comfy, and it's easy to commute around the city. Would recommend if you are on a budget staff at desk are helpfull and place was a pleasant stay."

"The room has a balcony and kitchen, making it ideal for long-term stays. The toilet and shower (no bathtub) are separate, and the sink is also separate, which is convenient. There's a simple gym where you can exercise. There's a supermarket and the Arc de Triomphe in Marseille nearby. I realized after booking that towel changes and room cleaning incur an additional charge. That was a bit disappointing."
