"The room was easy to find, right below the observation deck. The owner came to pick us up and even helped with our bags. I was traveling with elderly family and children, so it was convenient to just take the sightseeing car to the observation deck. Staying high up, you get a great view. The night view was beautiful; you could see the performance area. We sat on the balcony at night enjoying the view, and woke up to beautiful scenery in the morning too. Coming during the off-season meant fewer crowds and comfortable weather, not too hot. I'd definitely come back again. The owner even has a special photo spot for guests, with props like 'climbing onto the roof' and another where someone is lying down – it was really cool and a great photo op. I highly recommend staying here. The guesthouse was very clean. It was great not having to squeeze with the crowds at the observation deck."

"The views are absolutely stunning! I felt like the guesthouse itself was picturesque enough that I didn't even need to visit the other scenic spots. The cats at the guesthouse are also incredibly cute and friendly, letting you pet them. Someone even helped me with my luggage, which I really appreciated. A special shout-out to the auntie who makes the rice noodles for breakfast – they were phenomenal! Both the sour soup noodles and the clear broth noodles were incredibly delicious. It's amazing how she makes simple ingredients taste so good. And enjoying breakfast with such a beautiful view was pure bliss. Next time I visit the Miao village, I'll definitely book this place again just for those sour soup noodles!"

"The butler provided excellent service. We had just arrived at the village and were unfamiliar with the area, but he maintained prompt communication with us the entire time. He even helped us carry our luggage up many steps, which was incredibly touching. On top of that, he gave us a complimentary room upgrade. Our room had a great view, was clean and hygienic, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area. Highly recommended!"

"Amazing hotel in a great location in Kaili center. Close to lots of food and bar options, as well as shopping. Also close to bus station. This hotel is very comfortable to stay at as a foreigner, they have many aspects similar to Western hotels that aren’t commonly found in China, like offering free ice, coffee, softer beds, etc. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are meticulously clean and have very modern amenities like automatic lights and a smart toilet. There’s also a balcony which is great to relax on. My only advice is that I had a bit of trouble finding the location, it would be good if they could give instructions on how to find the hotel."

"Upon arrival at Kailinan Station, the PIC of Leili sent someone to pick us up. She even recommended us places to go and to dine in Kaili during the short drive. To our surprise, all the staff of Leili are female! Wow, it was all girls power and we were so impressed of how well they have managed the homestay! The homestay is artistically designed and decorated,the ambience is so cozy, the rooms are so new and clean. Not forgetting, the staff are so enthusiastic and kind to share us some information about Kaili. The homestay even provided us with welcome afternoon tea sets which serves their local tea and midnight dessert (green bean soup). We just feel so home staying in Leili. =)"

"The location is excellent, right at the No. 4 covered bridge, offering fantastic views, especially at night. You can take a sightseeing bus from the No. 1 covered bridge to the viewing platform, saving you the trouble of carrying your luggage up the mountain."

"The B&B has a great location with panoramic views of the Miao village, so there's no need to jostle with crowds at the observation deck. The room was very clean and well-maintained. It's truly impressive that there were no mosquitoes or bugs inside, considering this is a mountainous Miao village! Plus, there was no musty smell, even though Miao villages are typically very damp. Most importantly, the service was exceptional. The housekeeper helped with luggage throughout our stay, handled transfers, and afternoon tea was available whenever we asked. It was truly wonderful, and the housekeeper deserves a huge thumbs up! 👍 The mountain roads are quite challenging to navigate, but I guess that's part of the Miao village charm! 😁😁 One suggestion: it would be great if the bathroom had a place to put clothes, as it was a bit inconvenient without one. 😅"

"I couldn’t be happier with this hotel! Every staff member was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and truly enjoyed our stay. Before we even arrived, they gave us multiple transportation options to reach the North Gate, where visitors purchase tickets to enter the village. They then met us at the gate, helped us buy our tickets, stored our larger luggage, and guided us through the village to our homestay. They even carried our smaller bags all the way to our room. Along the way, they encouraged me to participate in the village’s traditional welcoming ceremony and treated us to a delicious bowl of noodle soup since we hadn’t eaten yet. What really made this stay unforgettable was that they became our personal tour guide for the day. The tour was educational, fun, and perfectly paced for us. This was a special mother-and-son trip, and my son couldn’t stop talking about how exceptional the service was. Out of our multi-city journey through China, this may have been our favorite stop. To top it all off, they arranged our Didi to the train station and personally escorted us back to the North Gate when it was time to leave. Xiao Guanji and A Rui, you are simply the best! Thank you for making our trip so memorable. We’ll never forget your kindness and hospitality!"

"10% off lunch and dinner: The food was delicious and fragrant, I recommend the dry pot beef, and the stewed chicken was local. Free pick-up and drop-off service from the North Gate to the hotel: Having a car to pick us up and drop us off was very convenient, they even picked us up at 11:30 PM. Everyone was super friendly and responsible, and the room was very clean. There's also a small convenience store downstairs."
